Honestly same OMFG 😭 I could even live happily with the less advanced phones/technology we had in that era if I had to. The fashion trends, magazines, candy sweet perfumes, the shopping mall trips, the Wii, tomogachis, just the wholesomeness of it all was everything to me. I still dress like I'm from 2009 sometimes. It makes me feel pretty, it's fun to put together and it makes me feel super nostalgic! For the makeup, I have thick brows so I just have to fake the thin brows, then I would use a ton of bronzer and frosty eyeshadow and I would finish off with a pink glitter gloss over a nude lips and a thick layering of mascara. For my hair I just did an iconic Lizzie McGuire zigzag hairstyle (idk what that's called) then I would add two pink highlights, a neon headband, star and butterfly hair clips and I would finish off the hair with hair glitter. For the outfits, a buncha jewellery with hearts, a black vest under a frilly pink tank top, on top of that would be a lilac colour glittery cotton cardigan, then I'd add a glamorous belt, a yellow tennis skirt over flared jeans and orange sneaker heels with white bottoms. Oh and I would make my nails red and glittery, with some little chunky kawaii charms glued on.

I think what makes this playlist so good is that all the songs match together, they all have the same thing in common: empty and airy instrumental that focuses on the singer. I think if you want to make a playlist like this pick a feature that you like in songs like a lot of adlibs, gutair etc and find songs that all have that in common but are different so you have that verity but no song stands out
