Hey Chel’s so pretty. I have short nails too. I just cut all mine off yesterday to start over. I broke like 3 on one hand & 2 on the other. & I am loving my shorties. I can do so much with them & not worry about breaking them. ❤️

Your nails look awesome! However...that's about as long as mine ever get, it's definitely been an eye opener on what the nail community considers short nails since I've only been dipping my nails a couple months. 🤣
I felt like that too when I first started dipping 🤣💕 my nails were this length for pretty much my whole life. But once I started keeping dip on consistently they grew looong 😳🤣 and fast! As much as I love the claw life, mom life says shorties are best 😆😆🙌🏼
Thank you so much 🥰 since every base has a different dry time it will vary for each brand. Even having a ceiling fan on can affect dry time 🤪 I definitely make sure to wait a few seconds. You can usually tell if it’s dry base on the color and if the nail looks darker/wet. If ever in doubt, definitely wait, gently touch it or if you’re doing solid color nails you can redip your nail 1 more time to make sure the powder is fully absorbed. Hope this helps! 💖
The constant struggle 😆🥰 I always try to make sure I don’t have a ceiling fan on when I use glitter or that I’m not right under an AC vent. But glitter is life ✨ 🤪

This is such a beautiful look!😍 I just did my first try at dip powder that I got for my birthday, and it came out very thick, and lifted at the cuticle even though I used Kiara Sky’s bond. I followed your removal video, and was impressed by how moisturized my hands felt afterwards! I might try this French technique next. Love your channel!💕

@@SipAndDip OMG, Please. Not much talent here and I have old wrinkly hands too. I stopped biting my nails about 4 years ago and I am 53. I still get bumpy stuff on the side of the nail that I can't see or feel till I am done and take a pic😭
So long as the glitter section on the tip of the nail doesn’t have any bare areas, then there won’t be any wet base liquid for the pink to absorb into 🥰 if for some reason I missed an area of the tip of my nail and it left exposed wet base liquid, then it would definitely grab onto the pink when I poured over! 💕
I keep short nails most of the time, then when I do a longer nail, I remember why I keep them short. 😂 I really like this look and look forward to seeing other options for short nails!
Hahahah I feel this!! 🤣🤣🤣 I went from almond to square and in 1 week I was back to almond hahaha it’s so funny how once we find something we like it’s hard to change to other shapes/lengths 😆
