I knew this one was going to make me cry when I saw it in the group. This cause is near and dear to my heart. It's the reason I even make tumblers. almost every dime I earn from selling goes back into suicide prevention and mental health causes. I lost my brother in 2017 and my niece in 2019, both to suicide. THANK YOU from the bottom of my heart for this.

Love this!! I made a shirt similar to this. I lost the love of my life on July 8th, 2018, to suicide. He was 12 years active duty Army. My heart will forever be broken until the day we are reunited.
I absolutely LOVE this! Myself, mother and 2 sons suffer, from mental illness. It is so brave of you to share your own story with us. As it is such an illness that's not seen....so many people don't understand that. I have been thinking of doing a tumbler for mental illness and suicide prevention and addiction. With somehow making 50% of the proceeds going to non-profit organizations. I'm just not sure how I'd be able to get the tumblers seen by many people that would get the word out and raise as much money as possible? Just something I have been thinking about a lot. A really lovely commemorative cup for suicide prevention. I promise everyone who reads this that mental issues will affect every one of us in our lifetime. Many times it is a chemical imbalance that can be treated if the person will simply reach out for health care. Having the love and support of family and friends is vital. Oddly enough a study found that the high school and young adults demographic during this time had lower rates of attempt and death. Their numbers went back up in 2021 as they were going back to school. As a teacher of 20+ years and unable to work since 2010, I am so sad by that! School should be a place of hopes and dreams, goals and accomplishments. Not where that is lost in a child... I wish I had the answer 💙... I don't even have the answers for how to manage my own mental health atm...
@@FlynnSistersBoutique The part that hurt my heart so much more if that's even possible was that this age group has the highest rates during April and May. This has to be correlated to grades at the end of the school year. If we (school at higher levels, teachers, home) aren't having this conversation everywhere and making it known we can't begin to reduce the loss. Everyone talks about mental health, anxiety and depression is as common as mayo and mustard, but it's hard to have the suicide discussion. Thank you for sharing your platform in this way!! ❣️🤗💙
One more question, I've been making cups and blinging things out for a long time now, but this is the 2nd video I've ever came across using glitter that you can rub off to achieve that real pretty & pearly look under the glitter.... my question is how do you know what glitter u can and can't rub off to achieve that pearly look? Is it all glitter and just a technique? Or is it certain glitters? The only other glitter I've been able to do this with was a fine yellow glitter from Micheals called Sunflower, and it was just in the normal glitter section.... so now I'm confused lol... help? 😂

What was the point in spray painting and wasting all that glitter just to show that little glitter through the decal? That's a waste and a waste of time...u just colored 99% of the cup with white
