I don’t think anyone’s really mad about WHEN we’re getting the global sync, it’s that we’re getting the sync before they’ve completely synced, and Global won’t have these summonable characters most likely until December😭 AND then BAM anniversary at the end of January. Incompetence at it’s finest

If they dropped the rest of the missing units on a christmas banner that would suck for global players because the anniversary is in February. Not a lot of stones to spread out if you are f2p

How do you have a year to just push some banners early but fuck it up? Cut each non-shared celebration on global by a week and it would have all been fine.

I've been playing Dokkan for 6 years, and this is the worst Global has ever felt. Emphasis on _felt._ And that includes the common droughts and predictable schedule (which had its pros and cons) we'd see back in 2018 and 2019. Even as a massive Gogeta fanboy, I want Teq UI more than the 9th anni LRs. However, now I don't know when he'll release, or if he'll release before he's powercrept out. Also, with the sheer amount of platitudes in this stream-Omatsu speaking English, the comments of praise from players, and the Times Square animation-it was obvious they knew we were going to be very upset watching this. And, as someone who's worked for a massive global corporation and now works for the state, the decisionmaking regarding the sync reeks of upper-management/leadership involvement, which would explain the nonsensical handling of this "unification of operating schedules."

TLDR of dokkan now. 1. Anniversary as usual, no major changes in banner or events. 2. Huge step up for anniversary banners. 30, 40, 50, free, 40, 40, 50. And in the last step you are guaranteed a featured unit. That means a guaranteed featured unit in 250 stones. 3. Nothing we already knew on sync. Sync will happen with WWC, and there will still be some unreleased units on global even after sync. No plan on how will that be solved.

Its obvious what they are gonna do. Those units are going to re-release earlier on JP, that way global can summon for 2 new units on the first few banners that are released after the sync. I dont see how its a big deal, like what did you expect? People arent going to have the stones to summon on all those banners if they were all dropped before sync.

I watch the whole stream and as a big global player fan this is the first time i was so disappointed i never felt with any game ever. I still find the active skills a bit off. the talking to chat and other dokkan tubers i can understand but mostly im scared in the future. Even worse I heard 6 hundred tweets i was like holy shit. I never thought a dokkan live stream would make people mad. I'm kinda scared.

Dokkan had the easiest f***ing lay up, they just needed to release the 3 new units in like part 3 of global anni and everything would probably be fine. My only big issue with waiting on the units is that by the time we get them they aren’t as grand because by then we will be getting the new units that are coming out with the sync and probably a bit of power creep so they won’t feel as grand as they do in JP

Am I the only one not really butt hurt by everything not being synced by August. If the sync wasn’t going to happen we wouldn’t be getting UI until December anyway. They can drop a DFE SSB Vegeta or Golden Frieza Then have a dual banner in Halloween instead of the filler banner they had last year. UI/Vegeta then Jiren/Toppo

I think they're trying to distract us with the new banner format whilst they remove the summon tickets. Find it a bit odd that they never mentioned them.. plus if they're syncing up with JP I imagine those will become a thing of the past and this banner format will become the new norm for both versions

I have a bigger problem with the date these banners come out, 2 days after the start of the anniversary, like what? Last years started and released the banners on the same day if I remember right. JP’s 9th is the same, started on the 29th, banners dropped the 29th. They say the 8th, can’t wait to wait until the 9th because it’ll probably drop at 10:30 on the 8th in PDT, so the 9th in EDT.

They plan things for 1/2 years in advance, it will probably take that much time for a full sync

I believe they meant that they won't be able to have the characters release at the same time because the devs have to do a lot to catch up to jp version. They have to encode all the animations, the card arts, the interactions, etc. Like the devs gotta work hella hard now because of this.

It simply was never realistic to expect all the JP-exclusives to be out before WWD (which was thought to be the unification of release schedule, now confirmed). UI, Cell Max and Toppo and (probably) Jiren all in August? And then WWD end of August. Releasing other ways to summon, like tickets, couldn't make up for how many banners there would be, they wouldn't give that much summoning currency away. And putting them all on one banner is just crazy talk when that would undoubtedly lose them millions in revenue.
