Billionaires are doing better than ever. There are 2 churches a couple of blocks away from where I live that give out free groceries and the lines go around the block. It's not about new taxes, it's who they tax. The top federal tax bracket for individuals is 33% on the portion of taxable income over $246,752. What if somebody makes $300k or $1M? Corporate taxes are 15% max. Also, all the money that was spent during the pandemic wasn't a free gift, regular people have to pay it back while billionaires increased their wealth by $70 billion in just 2020. What party in Canada runs on increasing taxes on the rich except for communists? And nobody is talking about it.

Mail ballots are necessary because many Canadian citizens live abroad.

That way more voters can actually vote, such as people who happen to reside not nearly within reach of a voting station. Don't their votes deserve to count too, or are elections rigged anyways?
