And that’s a wrap on Global Pet Expo 2024!
This week has been so so so special. I had the opportunity to meet with brands we have worked with in the past, explore some new brands, and make some amazing connections.
Last year, I had just barely made the qualifications to come to @globalpetexpo on TikTok a month before expo, so I had no idea what I was doing. I thought it was just cool brands wanted to talk to me. This year we hit qualifications on both TikTok and Instagram which is AMAZING! As I headed into this week, I took some time to reflect on the past year and am so grateful for all the trials and victories we have had both as creators and as a service dog team. After expo last year, we made a shift from just posting service dog content to posting just the every day life of Sebastian, and it has been a game changer for sure.
This was my first year bringing Sebastian, because last year I didn’t feel like he was quite ready yet. He did AMAZING, even though by the end of it he was exhausted. He did accurate alerts, was a demo dog for Pride & Groom, played nice with all his new friends, and overall exceeded my expectations.
I also was amazed how many brands remembered me from last year even though I did not have him with me and had a completely different hair color😂
I will say, whenever someone came up to us, already knowing who we were and complementing our page, I was always shocked. I made a post about imposter syndrome and I was flooded with kind messages about how we have helped other handlers through their journey, how much people love our content, and you guys telling me we belong here. We could not be here without all of you and I am thankful everyday that you are here.
We are super excited to share some new products we are super excited about, future collaborations/partnerships, and continuing to share our daily lives with you guys!
