Yes I applied for this and passed the initial tests, then they gave me very little time to get my college transcripts in, then said they weren't official but they were in-fact official transcripts and just denied my application, no asking to resubmit or take a look at what I had sent again, etc.

As a retired DSS Agent, the use of the word "covert" to describe our work is simply click bait and not true about what DSS Agents do in their jobs. And for every little video clip showing DSS Agents with some type of weapons platform, know that there are 100 times more work involving managing security programs at some Embassy or Consulate for the Department of State. DSS is not a covert group of "operators". They are security managers who have been highly trained to do a lot of things, including proficiency with a lot of different weapons platforms.

@kevinnunya9714
@kevinnunya9714 Месяц назад
@@lazye2360 Sure. Just keep in mind MSD is not a separate MOS or a career path. It is just a job in DSS that you can do then you do something else. MSD is not the same as Special Forces Units in the military. I did MSD for two years then went to San Diego to do criminal investigations.

My mother and father graduated from Timkens. Timkens was more than just an ordinary school. They taught my mother art. They taught my father master machinist. Timkens reminds me when I see this video. Because you mentioned the protection of art. Art is my passion. Even though I’m currently just an artist for disabled children…. This art too is important because it is their first primal masterpieces. The art of the cavemen were the first basic art and can tell us a lot about the world. Dad talked openly to me about World War One and two and the civil war. And Vietnam and Korea. Being a first child all of this information was available to me. They were incredibly disappointed on one hand that I was born a woman. Dad said no one would take me serious. I would have to bare children. But mom was excited to have her little girl. I do not mean to start this conversation with a gay issue. It is not the topic …. I just wanted to let you know I’m a woman that has recurved other training. I’ve spent more time in my brothers world than in my sisters world. Spent more time watching training videos. Dad told me during the war Timken moved all of the art into the salt mines if I have my story correct. That they moved all of the art into these mines to keep it safe. He said there was a story about being worth your weight in salt. That you had to have talent to prove yourself. Art is not easy. It is not cheap. It takes great masters in order to do the work. It takes training and an act of God. Do you know it’s impossible to paint after midnight. The paint will not come out of the tubes but will just scatter all over the place. You have to have a safe place. Do you know that houses and locations have memories that walls can talk? This is so true as the times I’ve visited historical places in my town. And the work I did with Kent state on historical preservation. We tried as a campus to preserve an entire city of Navarre Ohio. It was a college preservation effort. I also visited a ghost town in calico Calif. my grandfather always wanted to invent a Time Machine. He was working on a train and clocks at the time of his passing. He felt that once a word was spoken it could never be unspoken and he felt we only had freedom of speech because a soldier gave his life for us. He felt honestly that every word we said was being used against us. He was a man of very few words other than his teaching and that was over flowing with genius. He could teach geography and he could teach football. Math in ways you never knew math before. For instance how much is an apple 50 cents? 1 dollar? 5 dollars ? A million? I asked grandpa how could an apple be worth a million? He said if it a work of art. He said you can not say that apple is worth 1 dollar someone sold it to you for one dollar it took him years to grow the tree. I pondered about life lessons when I talked to him. I am interested more in your training videos. You also have given me courage to go back to the school next week. It is a school of dusabked children. Many as a result of war trama illness or just birth defects. There is one more class. I go there every summer. It is on historical grounds from Drayton Hall Middleton place and magnolia planation. I am but a time traveler to them. A strange woman with a case of paint. But if they are lucky they’ll learn the Magic’s of releasing these paints freely onto the canvas. Once they do so they can create pictures. These pictures they can use to tell a story. And one of them may become an artist. I’m doing these training videos with Thomas W W. He is the one in uniform. I wear the uniform in my heart and in my imagination. I have worked the dig training simulator 170000 times. I taught children in nasa. Some of these childreh went onto becoming pilots. I was in chemistry class in high school some of the students in my class went into making formulas that were used to make fabrics paints for more pictures and the tiles of the space shuttle. I went to college with sally ride. And I was teaching preschool on that same day. The children in my preschool went into becoming pilots. I worked through 911. My Walmart was safe. It was. I took 3 code blues. I checked alarm clocks. We were safe. The reason I do the simulator is to try to combat what happened. The simulator came out after the events of that day. I have been working the simulator for the president secret service for hospital transportation. I was able to operate it safely like three times. It’s hard in the simulator harder in real life.

This may help better your chances for any of the agencies you may be going for. 1 military experience. Especially in some sort of police or security. Military police or Security forces with Air Force. Next is security experience. Armed security experience. Then going into PSO route. The testing and training is difficult. Not going to sugar coat it. You have to ask yourself how bad do you want it? And do you want to be stuck with a low income job that doesn't pay much? Not offering any kind of career to get anywhere.

DSS Special Agents are the managers. They oversee Marine Security Guards, Private Military Contractors(like Blackwater), and local police in the host country. They’ll also sometimes have other DSS professionals, like Engineering Security Officers.

That's what I mean??I didn't say they're good because of what happened, I said they became that good in response of what happened. After the Benghazi attacks, their numbers more than tripled and they started to increase funding for equipment and training. They literally talk about that in the video bro
@vincentferreira1135
@vincentferreira1135 7 месяцев назад
What happened in Benghazi was a clusterfuck, I’ll give you that, but not every mission is successful. You think these guys get it right 100% of the time? No, nobody does. DSS was understaffed and underfunded at that time. They sent maybe 5-6 agents. That’s enough for one man, but not for the entirety of that compound. They were also told by Ambassador Stephens that he didn’t want to stay at a more secure compound because he wanted to get amongst the people. You are “in charge” but, at the end of the day, the principle is still the boss. They were also VERY quickly out numbered. Not much you can do about that. All of that, paired with comms being absolutely fucked, made for a whirlwind of bad luck. You obviously don’t know what you’re talking about so please, shut up. 🙃🖕🏼

It was a coordinated attack on an annex not an embassy. Not much you can do when you are denied air support.
