A bit too early to call that. Maybe, but very unlikely. There have only been a few franchises which I would call true "worldwide" phenomenon. The more recent ones being MCU and maybe the Wizarding World.

@@fbs_mike8169 Impressive, I think to truly tell Netflix should release the Stranger Things finale for S5 as a movie exclusively in cinemas. I would love to see the box office numbers it could pull in. I think it definitely has potential to make a billion at the box office. Like imagine if Volume 2 of this season was released in cinemas instead of Netflix.

@@fbs_mike8169 Regardless, I still wouldn't class it as a phenomenon. I think to be a phenomenon you need to be successful in multiple mediums (movies, books, games) across the world as well as have high merchandise sales, theme parks, attractions, etc. Harry Potter is the best example of this.

I don't know, it's just that so many people all over the world like the show, it has had a very big fanbase, that too, since the beginning of the show. And now the clips and scenes of the new season are being projected on monuments! That's just huge! And I don't think I have witnessed something this big, just to promote a web series. Even Game of Thrones' final season didn't have this kind of reactions. So yeah, I think using the word 'phenomenon' wouldn't be wrong.

Stranger Things should be the 'It' of the 21st century with the same cast returning circa 2040s to battle 'Vecna' perhaps possessing a different vessel if the current one is 'killed off' in V2 or S5,@@bryanthernandez9769. If hints are pointing to what I'm interpreting as their meanings, it seems that Max might be developing some powers of her own. They seem to be different from El's powers, just like Kali has different powers, maybe something like clairvoyance that only manifests as vague 'hints' at first and she learns to interpret them in useful ways as S4 finishes and into S5. Her powers could have significance in the timeframe of a sequel series too; vague hints now of what may be 'yet to come' in 30 years or so.

"Dear Billy" is the BEST episode ever! It's still stuck in my head and its been 4 days! So much went into that episode and you can just feel the emotions throughout that episode especially the ending. And "Running up that hill" by kate bush has always been one of my favorite songs so the fact they put it in stranger things which is my favorite show is so beautiful!! 😭 Max is my favorite character besides El and I relate to her so so much.

Idc what anyone says this whole season was immaculate af I’m so happy for them Fr they all worked they butts off they deserve every thing coming there way, biggest show on Netflix , they deserve every single penny this vol.1 was to perfect they literally gave us so much in just 7 eps , we got bully awareness, horror, comedy, irl situations, smoking, relations, suffers literally made every character like the main character an I fw that we got so much depth just in this vol.1, action,adult conversation like talks , etc we got to see 2.different groups tryna go through there own problems. I just can’t wait for vol.2 it’s gonna be a roller coaster I got so many questions & I need them answered lolllll 30 more days yay!

I’m surprised they even allow it considering how strict Malaysia is for LGBTQIA+ related stuff, and stranger things has at least 2-3 characters in the lgbt community. (Robin being lesbian, Billy being called a f*g by his father and Will being slightly hinted as gay or other sexuality)

Thats epic, everyone in production and cast should be super proud of there art and not only showing us a great story but always never failing to deliver on such a great series. It is a great shame to see the show end and all good things must come to an end, but I am hoping as many others would be as well I dare say, I am hoping the Brothers will come up with yet another great story and series in the next few years. Cheers for giving us 4 seasons of a great series and truly can't wait to see whats next.
