In November of the 2023 fall semester, the University of Florida College of Journalism and Communications organized another amazing sport-centered study abroad program. Open to undergraduate and graduate students, those selected had the opportunity to travel to Frankfurt, Germany, for one week to report on the globalization of the NFL, all from different perspectives. Some students took the angle of fashion while others took the route of advertising and marketing, along with everything in between. Nonetheless, the individuality and authenticity of each student and the journalism industry as a whole shined through in this amazing endeavor. Three participants, Rachel Rosen, Reighan Sheppard and Syni Sparkman, challenged themselves with documenting the trip and compiling the experience into one promotional video for future students to reference. This video will take you through the entire week abroad, highlighting the different institutions and museums visited, to give viewers and more personal look at what this experience really entailed. You will hear a variety of first-hand experiences and opinions of the different excursions and see for yourself just how amazing a UF CJC study abroad program really is.
