I LOVE oldschool style skate shoes , the new thin low cut shoes just feel unsafe to me esp my ankles. I've never had Half cabs but they look like a good medium , a bit of both generations in one.
Aww I feel old you calling them old school style shoes, my generation consider the thin vans and Nike sb to be more like the old school shoes back in the 70s. Funny how both our generations have viewed the skate shoe designs completely different.
@@sniffmatip3865 😂 I remember wearing my thin freaking cons in the 80's it was brutal once ollies became the only trick on our minds LOL I blame Natas for all my shoe woes as a kid.
Just bought these shoes today. So far walking around in them is extremely comfortable and I love the style. Almost don't want to skate with them since they'd get ruined lol. How did yours hold up?
OK, I got another shoe review coming soon. It's a good one. Mine have held up very well. They are durable so will last. I'm a shifty foot skater so I wear out the bottom soles first. They lasted a month in that respect. I'm trying to stop shifting my front foot when I set up for tricks. Then they would last a lot longer. Great shoe, love it. I'll do and update on it with my next shoe review.
Going to make an update soon, but they do compare to DC, as in wear time till you need new shoes. Vans too, so I'd say they were an average durability. 🙌
