I have a highly customized Glock 19 Gen 3. I also have a CZ 75 Compact that has been “Cajunized” at Cajun Gun Works. There is no comparison when it comes to accuracy. The CZ 75 will “eat the Glock’s lunch• any day of the week. The CZ produces way tighter groups.
Hey, pops I owe several Glocks and a CZ , I have been a Glock fan for years but since I bought my CZ I am a CZ fan for life. There is no comparison the CZ wins hands down in all aspects I don't even shoot my Glocks anymore , I have been a Firearms Instructor for 28 years and now I tell students having a CZ is like cheating . Thanks for a good video and comparison test.
You right! Glock is Volkswagen and the CZ 75 is a Rolls Royce! Much better engeneering a long history of the CZ guns. Also you can find atleast 10 copies of CZ across the world, but real CZ 75 is from the Czech republic only! AMAZING GUN!!!👍
@@rockodlakGlock fanboy here and…. CZ lifer!!!! But I’d say the Glock is the Toyota 4x4 and can go anywhere, anytime and on any battlefield. But…. It’s not as accurate as the CZ. That said however, the CZ is like the Mercedes G-Wagon 4x4. It goes anywhere with just a little more comfort. 😊
:) ... I have always been told that it is not the accuracy of the gun, but rather the ability of the shooter to aim accurately that matters. Being a baby boomer, I prefer the real feel of steel in my hands. My CZ-75 fits like a glove. I notice most people today are using polymer wonders with internal slide hammers and red dot optics - probably with good reason. But much can be said about classics from yesterday. The CZ-75 was just as good in 1975 as it is today. Now that's some history. Thank you CZ for all you do!
Hey Pops! Nice video. I own and love both models. I don't shoot competitively like yourself, but I do agree with your results from my own experience. Both pistols are very accurate, but I also get tighter groups with my 75B. 😎👍🏻🇺🇸💥
Firing from a rested position improves the gun to gun comparison but it probably reduces the advantage that the handgun with the better trigger would have. But no test is perfect and this was a good comparison.
Comparing any Block with a CZ is an Apples to oranges comparison. CZ firearm’s are several miles ahead in terms of prestige, & overall quality. Blocks are cheaply made, but cost approximately $150-$175 more than what their worth. All stock Blocks basically have two price points ($549-$649) with a product line that consists of 40+- plastic, 3D printed looking models that all appear, & perform the same way....Striker fired. But, at least the Glock 17, & 19X can fit 2, & 4 more extra rounds respectively over standard 15 RD magazines....Yaaaaaaay! The CZ 75B (Omega) has a steel frame, DA/SA, with an MSRP of roughly $579. I’ve shot the Omega, but don’t own one. I do own the original CZ 75B, though. Both are total quality, & are priced about the same. The decision to go with the CZ 75B was based solely on personal preference....Easier to fire without a bulky decocker, & again, personal preference I simply liked the 75B’s trigger over the Omega’s. Again, CZ is a much higher end product that’s usually placed alongside the Heckler & Koch’s, Sig’s, & Walther’s of you’re favorite gun store. Block’s are not a lot of fun to shoot. However, the CZ 75B shoots, & feels like a 1911 without the occasional 1911 headaches........Easily, it’s one of the most accurate handguns I’ve ever owned. Lastly, & most importantly-CZ reliability vs. Glock reliability. Blocks are unlikable in so many ways. But, their arguably the best firearm’s for beginners, & their reliability is second to no one. The reliability of a Block is every bit as good as a CZ. For those learning to shoot, & or those just want a reliable handgun that doesn’t break the bank than the German Wannabe Block’s are a great choice. That said, if you’re looking for a striker polymer with unsurpassed quality, & reliability spend the extra couple bucks, & purchase a VP9 (from the company who invented the polymer pistol), or a Walther PPQ (both have two of best stock triggers on the market). But, if you’re thinking DA/SA perfection with incredible reliability, & the finest (non custom) out of the box builds take a look at the CZ 75B (or Omega), CZ 75 shadow, HK USP, HK V1 45, Sig P-226, or the Walther Q5 Match.
People will blame the user, but if a product doesn’t do what it’s intended to do accurately is it really our fault, that we should have to get better than a shitty product
@@user-vg8tv1hp9c maybe their fanatism stop them to do so. In my circle I have heard exactly the experience I've come to conclussion. Glock is a great handgun, super reliable and durable, but not the most accurate as this vid clearly shows
It's possible that the difference isn't in the accuracy of the pistol, but rather in the accuracy of the shooter having to use a poor trigger in the case of the Glock and a good trigger in the case of the CZ. Even if you work on the Glock trigger, there is just so much that you can do with a striker fire design.
Great video! I like all guns! I prefer CZ over all because, it feels better in my hand!!! Fit is the key. The better a gun fits you, the more accurate you will be able to be with it! My opinion! And spend lots of time at the range! CZNATION!
I have shot both. I am pretty much more accurate with the Glock, it's lighter, and hands do not shake so much with the Glock. On the other hand, the CZ-75 is just the superior gun - fits better in hands, more ergonomic, the old-school shooters with experience appreciate the CZ much more than the Glock.
I've had a longer slide glock and the Glock 19 and zero difference to me. Got rid of the long slide. As far as the 19 against the CZ P07, the 07 wins hands down. I assume you put the Glock back to stock so it will be heavier. Boat anchors need to be heavy but not too heavy. Good vid buddy. You've been busy today.
Interesting comparison Rob and a great video. I really like both platforms. However, I think the CZ probably just suits you better ergonomically and maybe even the sights play a larger role in this. I know that all Glocks and the CZ's from the factory will print with unbelievable accuracy....like 4"-5" groups at 25 yards. I wish I still had my Ransom rest :-( I have noticed that with 50 round strings of testing that the groupings with the marksman barrel Glocks are smaller in size than the polygonal rifling Glocks. Not MUCH smaller but noticeable.
Eh- then you have to learn double action for SSP and have a more difficult reload. In fairness- the distances are so close in IDPA I don’t think accuracy is a major determining factor like it can be in USPSA. Plus the CZ comes with broken slide stops and trigger return springs. Both have pluses and minuses.
I don't own a Glock, but a friend let me shoot his once, and I put four rounds through the same hole. (He had WORK done on that pistol, lol!) I have two CZs that I acquired this year, a PCR and a B. I much prefer the CZ 75 B. It's similar to my HiPower and I shoot it more accurately than the PCR, which would be marginally better to carry. Having said all this, BOTH are a joy to shoot, and I would purchase both again in a heartbeat.
I think you had about a 5 mile an hour wind left to right should have probably held up about two meals and accounted for some type of spindrift other than that yeah
The thing is though you are not gonna be slow firing from the bed of your truck in a combat situation. No doubt the group from the cz is tighter. But will the cz go 100,000 rounds with minimal maintenance? Idk.. both great weapons. Glocks work. Period. They arent tac drivers.
@@prestonpowers7376 i dont care either way. But this whole inherent accuracy bs is just laughable. Yea the cz is more accurate. But glocks are accurate enough even out to 25-50 yards. Its a handgun dude. The possibility of you needing to be effectively accurate beyond that distance is just silly.
In a combat situation however I prefer glock because your CZ jammed up from fairly slow steady shooting and in combat situations people are panic pulling the trigger and a glock isnt going to jam up so I'll take the falloff of accuracy for the reliability every time.
I carry a SigP365, G43, and a Rami. The Rami is most accrurate of the 3 (in my hands so may not be same for others). Also has the 14 round mag along with the 10. In second place is the G43 with my +1 and +2 Taran Tactical base pad. The Sig is still new for me. Have fired about 100 rounds out of it with 1 failure to battery (most likely my fault as I was having trouble keeping a good grip on the snappy little thing).
Good testing as folks will still talk due to being hurt....I think you guys are right as I know Glocks are good guns but I just don't care for them due to so many better choices out there for the money you pay.....Just my opinion and again Glocks are good guns....Good stuff....
The spreading circle of your glock 17 should normally be 1/4 of that size at this distance with armrest. You may have to work a lot on your trgger pull.
Could you help me, which gun would you buy if you could have only one. Cz75b Cz75omega convertible Glock 19 gen 5 Glock 17 gen 5 I know these are two different types of guns but here in Croatia these are the moste popular. And also which would be the most durable something I could pass to my kids. Thanks!
@@UncleDanBand64 M.O.T.!!! That's awesome!!! I still stick with my CZ's. Not a glock fan. I guess the CZ fits my hand better? I think that's what really matters. If a gun doesn't fit you, you will never be accurate with it!
@@luketilley9137 yeah I think you are right. The better it fits the better you'll shoot. Glocks are not made to be target pistols. I probably could shoot a lot of pistols better than my G19. But if the chips were down that is the pistol I want with me.
Yeah. Just about all of them.. lol I can qualify every time with a glock at my facility but even though I could use one of our facility provided glocks I still chose to buy my own CZ, why would I buy my own expensive, heavy all still sidearm over a glock? Because it really is that much BETTER! You end up with probably the most ergonomic grip, you get double/single action and can cary either cocked and locked or with the hammer down plus you get double strike capability. Its also something that I could actually see myself handing down as someting of an heirloom. Whereas a glock is well.... just a glock.
I got some interesting results when bag testing my new handgun with various ammunition. I did what you did here with a full mag of each to examine the spread. Glock's term for their long slide gen 5's barrel is "Marksman barrel" which is utterly BS terminology made up to sell more products. There is nothing special or more accurate about that barrel. You should buy me a Ransom Rest so I can do further testing...
I have a G43 and the only reason is it's easier to conceal in the summer. But I can shoot the Shit out of my Cz-P07. More so than my Ppq Sc. Not a fan of Glocks. 1 and done unless Kotaboy gets his Polymer 80 done and it tickles my fancy. Lol
Me too I have been shooting Glocks for over 30 years , and just purchased my first CZ , now the Glock will stay in the closet this CZ sp-01 tactical Rocks right past my G34 & 35 . Best gun for the price.
Same here, I shoot nearly everything better than a glock. Not to bash glocks, but the CZ-75 is in a league of its own. In my opinion its the best semi auto pistol ever.
Lol the smart guy does research and finds a better gun. Lol Springfield's xdm 45 is more accurate than a glock. I went with the cz 75B omega over the glock. I'm probably going to get the sig p320 over the glock too lol
I’m not a gun owner, however, when I hear the word Glock and look at Glock gives me a different feeling! It’s as if an AK 47. On the other hand CZ gives me no character or seriousness.
