My detailed unboxing and also comparison of Glock 17L vs Glock 34 Gen 5. I show the adjustable rear target sight, MOS 02 adapter plate, and new polymer dust cover. I also include trigger pull weight, a simple size comparison to the PSA Dagger, and try the G17L in my Recover 20/20N.

Have a 34 Gen 3 and always intrigued by the 17L but I see they reduced weight on Gen 5 17L via a Polymer dust cover and lighting cuts top under polymer optic cover. Awesome review.

@bench175 like, I'm sure they wouldn't have done it if it wasn't viable, but there is a lot of action happening there it'd be nice to see that's it's pretty rigid

@@desert_shenanigans modern polymer can be stupidly strong if done right. People just get a bad perception of polymer because most polymer items you interact with through your life use veeeeeeery cheap polymer.

@talltale9760 they went with polymer to lighten the slide, my gen 3 has actual slide cuts inside and along barrel for the lightening. I understand why they did it, I just want to know how viable it is with all that action happening inside there.
