GLOCK 19 Accuracy & Ammo Test - Straight Out of the Box 

I stayed away from Glocks for years til some guy at the range let me shoot his G19. I bought one afterward and have not gone away since.

I've always had somewhat the same problem with my G19. Just put on a set of the truglo tfx pros. Hands down the best sights I own to date. Hitting center mass virtually all day now.

Love Glock 19's 3 Gen, 4 Gen and will get a Gen 5 someday soon. I have been told by Gun teachers that shooting left like that usually has something to do with the way you pull the trigger or how you hold the trigger. I'm currently working on that right now. Thanks for the great video!

It takes a little practice to get use to a new handgun. Maybe try more dry fire practice before the range. Either way, good solid hits.

This only says how good or bad shot you are... competiton shooters shoot 2inch groups all day with factory glocks at 25m one handed slow fire. Yes, the factory sights and trigger sucks for targetshooting. But use a ransomrest to test ammo.

I've owned 2 Glock 19's, both new shot the same as yours. I got rid of the first one and about 6 months ago bought a Gen 4 19, did the same thing regardless of ammo. What I have found out is they need about 3 to 5 hundred rounds to settle in.

I have a Glock 19 Gen3, and seem to have a the best accuracy with 124 grain rounds. The factory sights must synch up well with the point of impact on the 124 grain. With 115's I tend to shoot a little low and left, and a little high and left with 147. You can adjust for this obviously, but natural accuracy seems best with 124 grain loads.

I have found that 124 gr Seems to be more accurate than the 115.

change the sights to a front fiber optic or trijicon hd sights you'll appreciate the glock alot more..great vids your active shooter video Meade me a subscriber great mind set stay safe man.

Upper left hand quad is where I tend to group also (with the first shot being right about on center) regardless of which handgun or which ammo I'm using so I know it's user error. I should probably go take a lesson to go figure it out, but like you said at the end of the day at 12yds, it's hitting critical center mass so that's what counts.

Why on my glock 19 gen 4 jams with only SIG V-CROWN 9mm ammo? Any other type of 9mm works just with these it jams even after the first shot

I suggest you get some Glock-centric targets to help improve your accuracy. They're available online to download and print. The pattern of your hits on the target are interpreted to suggest the changes you need to make in operating your pistol. I love Glocks. I own six of them (2x.40's, 2x10's, 1x.45, and 1x9-- a 17L not a 19), but my FAVORITE pistol now (next to my Coonan .357) is my Dan Wesson Valor 1911. I recently purchased it, took it to the range last month for the first time, and it performed flawlessly. The sights may take some getting used to (one dot above another like my Beretta M9), but I still managed to get 100 rounds of Winchester white box inside a 3 1/2" circle at 15 yards with no failures of any type. I just need a bit more practice with it, but I'm certain those groups will shrink to less than half that diameter. And, hey, it shoots a .45 caliber hunk of lead, a legendary man-stopper. What's not to like besides the purchase price?

how to do you tell from high quality and low quality ammo?

Alot of guys switching from m and p to glock shoot high due to the ergo.

If you don’t use a barricade for support the inherent accuracy of the gun cannot be demonstrated. Bags are even better.

yeah dont think is you the factory glock sights suck. but there are easy fixes to that

My Gen 3 Glock 19 shot way low out the box. im still not quite sure what to do about the sights.

hey man do you have an update to this video? I also own a G19 Gen5 and shoot horribly still after 600-700 rounds(I shoot much better with sig/cz). Starting to think I need to send my gun back to Glock. I shoot a gen 3 glock 19 much much better

You basically are using the excuse "combat effective" to suck at shooting. 4:35 That 25 yard target is insulting to everyone's intelligence... the fact that you have voiced opinions or instructions on anything handgun related at all. You aren't skilled enough to make any sort of meaningful commentary on ammo selection.
