We will not be seeing many new Glock Pistols coming to CA until the roster is gone, but they did start producing the Glock 19C again! Austin and I shoot the reintroduced pistol! #glock19c #kingsguncenter #letsgoshooting
While I don’t live in CA I’m in FL, I’ve had my 19C for 20 years or so and I’ve loved it. Although I have had issues with it stove piping shooting Winchester 115grn ammo, I’ve been told to try to a hotter load but I believe it’s resolved after replacing a weak mag spring and switching to some 124grn ammo.
I purchased the 19c a few weeks ago just because I was on the fence and was considering getting the ramjet, a few dollars more and it was the price of a whole new pistol. Not exactly the same thing but it's SOMETHING
I totally agree with this statement g22/23/27 in .40 makes the MOST sense because your .40 barrel will be ported and you can buy a non ported 9mm conversion barrel and shoot both calibers
I bought this a couple weeks ago, out of the first 100 rounds I got 40+ stove pipes and a few jams, ive been told there could be decent break in process
I'm not quite sure what's happening. Either Glock is starting to slip a little bit or ammo is getting worse. But, traditionally Glock will eat any type of ammo. I just think there's something going on Glock and their quality control right now. We have seen it a lot of our Glock 34 pistols with feeding issues too. Thanks for watching.
@@BigMike562So with a little bit of work i got my gun to work without any failure, after doing some research i switched ammo and went with 124g, It functioned better but afterwards I noticed an imperfection of the frame, the “U” shape of the frame under barrel wasn’t parallel and dove inward toward the barrel which needed some force to sit right, I shaved it down to a perfect U shape and that seemed to fix everything
Nice. These were rare, good to seem 'em back. Ejection seems a bit erratic, it ejected left some shots. Will probably break in I hope. Speaking of models long out of production, come across any 17Ls? Want to get one for fun before they're gone again.
He noted that it's lighter because of the cuts...like anyone would notice the difference. I think most of us would rather have a Gen 3 MOS. This compensator looks like it will mess with your night vision/sight picture follow up shots.
its not a gimmick, the 19c truly shoots much flatter than the regular 19. you do lose bullet velocity but only around 5%. the muzzle flash is there but you arent losing any night vision. more than anything, youd lose your night vision from your weapon mounted light. if you dont use lights at night, well you wouldnt want to be shooting at something or someone in the dark anyway unless youve clearly visualized the possible threat. otherwise it’ll be even more difficult to defend a self defense scenario in court than it already is. you really have to try it yourself. the only issue is the carbon build up on the front sights. the workaround is getting the slide milled for an RDS or getting something like the meprolight sights.
@@ToddCottaI’m a dealer and I want to order a bunch of these, but none of the distributors even have them listed on their website. Just curious where you got these is all!
I received 2 from Camfor / Hillcountry several months ago and they have not gotten any since. I have a standing order for these guns but they are not being produced at this time. Where is your store located?
It’s great that Glock is accommodating those of us in Commiefornia. My concern with porting any handgun used for self defense is that the gasses being vented can be directed towards the shooter’s face when it’s held in a retention position. It’s just not something you need to deal with when things have already gotten that bad. I made the mistake of buying a ported revolver once and thought it was great until I was training with it. Shooting from behind a tree gave me a face full of debris that took me by surprise. In an actual gunfight, this OODA loop breakdown could cost you. They’re great for the range but not for serious purposes.
Your partner looks like he couldn’t care less about this gun and the interview. So low energy. Not exactly a great start. But I’ll continue watching just to see if his energy drink finally kicks in 😂
