Rocket City is the best. There are a lot of good guys out there doing this kind of work but there's something special about Rocket City work. He's got the magic touch when it comes to the designs. Seriously, nobody does it better. Amazing gun.
Im pretty sure your G45 is the best customer job ive seen. Obviously i have similar taste as you. Ill get on their waiting list today. (If possible. ) 🔥🔫💯
Thanks 👍 I love the way it turned out. His work is flawless. I had him do 2 more guns also. Check out the video I did on my 43x(it's a little more flashy).... I'm going to do one on my G17 he did for me here in the next week or so.
Looks badass, you can tell that gun is for show tho, all that money to make it look cool then u put a cheap Olight and holosun, no need for all those slide cuts either, just allows dirt and lint in there. But for show piece it is nice looking.
I disagree with a few things....this gun is definitely not for show. It's on my hip anytime I'm at my property (which is every weekend through the summer and fall). The slide cuts and stippling are very functional for grip, racking the slide and less reciprocating weight. The gun does get dusty and dirty in that environment, but I haven't had a gun that doesn't. Obviously cleaning is a must. I can't argue with the light comment... They are cheap compared to other lights.... But it works every time and it's bright. The holosun...I don't think that's even an argument either. They are one of the most popular, reliable, tough red dots you can buy and they aren't overpriced like the unreliable trijicon rmr's I've had. Everyone's opinion is different which I'm cool with. But if a product doesn't work or isn't reliable I'll be the first to say it on this channel. Thanks for watching 👊 and for the comment 👍
Hi 👋 late here. Beautiful gun. I’m in line for a rcs stippling job too. What’s your opinion and experience with the high tang? Lot of gun channels preach low tang so they’re able to get a smoother purchase on the handle, with or without a glove. I wanted high tang. But I also want to be able to dig my thumb area into the tang to get a nice handwrap around the handle. Thanks in advance
I love the look of the high tang, but if you are shooting for an extended amount of time it will wear on the webbing of your hand. That may be something you get used to over time and it won't be a problem but you can definitely feel it.
I did the custom Glock stippling package. Options I chose were... Double undercuts, dehorn trigger guard, gas pedal, mag release border, magwell border, remove back strap lines, full tang stippling, gap borders, atnip texture.
It depends what you wear and your body type. But yes occasionally I CC with it. I'm going to do a video on iwb holsters in the near future I'll make sure to include that gun
Hey Man, hope all is well. It's been a while since I wrote you. I ended up getting my Glock 45-9mm Stippled & Cerakoted here in my hometown from a reputable person. My gun had 1 misfire in over 3000 rounds. When I got the gun back after Stippling & Cerakote, I can't get through a magazine without a Failure to Feed, Jam, Misfire or Failure to Eject. He said it may be from the Cerakote being applied to thick and it will eventually wear off and return to normal after multiple shots down range. Does that make any sense? Have You had any issues with your G-45? Any thoughts on how my gun could go from almost perfect to a nightmare? Thank You!!!!
That sucks man... I've only had rocket city stippling do my Glocks and I've had zero problems. All 3 of them have ran perfectly. I've heard of issues when cerakote is too thick, but I've never experienced it personally. Hopefully you get it figured out.
I told you wrong, they are Taran tactical. Follow the build list link in description of the video and it will have a link to them. You tube won't let me link directly to a site you can buy gun parts.
Thanks for the Video! Great looking gun. Could you please say again what the Texture is on your gun? I think there was a Typo (atnip) in your reply. Thanks again!
It's coming, I was hoping to do it before now, but I've been pretty busy this summer. I'm planning on doing that one in the next few weeks👍 thanks for watching
Oh my fucking god, dude!! This is the exact palette I have and want for my first gun. Roadworn silver! It’s fuckkng disgusting, holy fuck. Could I please get the details about where you sent your gun? I’m so jealous and in love!
All that and you put an olight on it lol he did a great job yeah but the stippling cost more than the gun does. You could have bought a brand new staccato for what you spent on this Glock.
Everyone that has never had an olight....hates the olight. I've never had one issue with them.....I have however had issues with a couple lights from the "indestructible" brands . Yea I probably could have bought a new staccato but I tend to grab this before my staccato when I'm headed out for some fun.
No problems with the timney? My glock 34 Gen 5 has had a bunch of problems with the timney, I'm getting the johny glock trigger I gave up on the timney.
No problems for me with the timney. The only problem I've had is after I put on the johnny glock vex shoe for the timney. It would hang up and not want to reset
@ballisticallychallenged ahhh. Mine was sticking with the reset, and then had 2 lite strikes. Ordering a whole johny glock trigger. The timney has a few problems as well as quality control. They tell you to bend the trigger but it doesn't eliminate the design of the sear and additional screw the send you with the washer. I Gave up on them its unfortunate. They have a good design just needs to be tweaked. They clearly only care about money though so I'm ditching their product. Won't buy a single trigger ever again from them.
Nice Glock but IMO the ported slide is dumb. U spend all that money to make it sick but then lose pretty much all reliabilty with the ported slide. Leaves soo much room to cause failures. If it’s a range toy or competition gun then it’s fine but as a SHTF/HD/duty ported anything is a no go. But very nice Glock. I’m lookin to send my Glock to primary machine for a slide cut and cerakote job. Not sure if I should send the frame in as well. Does a polymer frame really need a cerakote layer? I feel like the Glock frames last forever either way 😂
The barrel on this gun isn't ported. If you're referring to the cuts in the slide, I disagree on it being unreliable due to slide cuts. I have many guns that have slide cuts/lightening cuts and not one of them is unreliable. As for cerakote, that's a personal preference 👍 thanks for watching
@@ballisticallychallenged for basic use yes the slide cuts is not a issue but as a handgun u can count on for any and all use having slide cuts is 100% a detriment. But I’m not here to critique u. It’s a beautiful Glock either way. Do u think getting your Glock frame is necessary or a waste of money? My g45 slide is gonna get RMR cut as well as a cerakote job. Trying to decide if I should get the frame cerakoted as well?
I know, in some of my older videos the volume was low before I got it dialed in with better equipment. This editing thing is harder than people think 😂
