Yeah, I was really hoping that it was getting printed in Europe and that non-USA orders would be shipped from Europe rather than from USA. I'm not sure I can afford the cost as a result, especially since there's likely a big UK customs charge I'd also need to pay.
James, I'm glad that you playing Magic the Gathering. I used to play but that was long ago. Any deck that I now have is certainly not tournament legal. I used to watch Saffron Olive on MTG Goldfish for a while but I've stopped. I'll check out your other channel.
Hey NNG. I've been following BG613 for the past year and a half. I was lucky to even test out some of the content with him last year. It was awesome. I've been in touch with him since then and been sooooo keen for this. BUT once I saw shipping $115Usd to Australia, I really wasn't sure I'd be able to get it as the full cost ends up being $235USD which ends up being $320ish Aud... This is more than backing FH and I couldn't come around to paying so much for 1/4 of the content. This is not an attack on BG613, just sad the shipping is so much. I have actually emailed BG613 to see if I could get dimensions and weight so I could get it shipped somewhere to the US and then ship it to Australia for a much lower price than the $115 quoted... If you hear anything, let me know because as of now I can't justify the cost.
I looked at printing in Aus and it was going to cost the full amount just to get the cards printed... Was thinking of printing myself and knew that would be a nightmare and I'd miss the stickers and all the 'board' contents. So I succumbed to it and ordered it. I know I'll love it, as it is Gloomhaven, and I know from the content I have seen (most of the classes and a few scenarios during testing last year) I am going to love it. Just sad that shipping is so messed because of Covid. Just thought I'd update you on where I am at. I think it is still worth it, even though normally I am cheap, I decided that this is a one-off and something I could not replicate. BG613 has done an amazing job and I can't wait to get my hands on this. :D It Will be sweet.
Hey James! Can we please get a video about the new classes in Crimson Scales? I know on the website you can look at some of the level one cards, but I want your take on the classes if you have time to do a video like that.

Assuming it's coming into the USA via ship, I wouldn't be surprised it's going to be held up even longer with the mess/delays that's been going on most of the year.
Hello from Latvia! Bg613 explained everything, there is no other way. There are some iniciatives to have it printed in EU. Could be that cost will be higher but shipping lower. We will know when content is available on CS website.

@@constantine9882 files are not uploaded in Crimson scales website yet. If you check updates in Reddit, you can find polish gamers who plan to order from printing shop in Poland.
I have to admit, it was a difficult decision. The shipping costs are insanely high to Germany/Europe. Somewhere around 80,- EUR shipping and VAT will come on top of that… But well, it is Gloomhaven!
You should considering partnering with ome of the European fan groups that are pitching in to share shipping costs. Dont let shipping keep you from purchasing this!

Shopping costs to the UK pretty much ruined it all. I am not paying $80. I understood from the previous videos that printing would be done in Europe and a batch sent to US. Unfortunately, I am out
My question is for all of us super cheap people out there who want to print everything but the box ourselves and 3d print the minis ourselves will the files be available to print at home?
Is there a way to get access to a print and play version? If I order it at this price + shipping to EU my gf will not be very happy :S and she even plays GH with me
PnP files are to be released soon. Most of the content is already available, though. Also, considering getting TTS and playing virtually. Gloomhaven had a lot of automation and QoL features!
Can someone clarify the high price for me? If all I'm paying for is the production costs and shipping then why is it more expensive than Gloomhaven? All due respect to the work involved I'm not understanding why I'm paying this much. Not to mention your getting less than what comes with Gloomhavem. Like miniatures and all the components you'll be using from the base game
The more people buy it, the cheaper it is. Since so few people will be buying this (compared to Gloomhaven) it will cost more. They did a preorder check to see how many people were interested, then told the print shop how many copies they were expecting, and then they gave them the cost per copy.
