Gloria had some really great songwriting going on behind her. This isn’t the best example of it. In the end, You gotta eat. This was a marketable and entertaining song. Popular too. She had a really great sound and impression that was very captivating. I’m not just dwelling on the fact that she’s beautiful too. Her voice, her tone her sound was really great.

Living in S. Florida in the 80s, this music was the best. I couldn’t get enough of Gloria and the Miami sound machine. Sadly it wasn’t as popular throughout the rest of the country. I asked if my sister in MN liked one of her songs and she had barely heard of it. I don’t think it had the same appeal anywhere else as it did in S. Florida

I remember the first video I saw with Gloria Estefan. I had no idea who she was, but she was my 12-14 year old celebrity crush. Then I found out she was legit old enough to by my mom. She was still the reason I learned Spanish in high school. Her music is still enough to make the old me dance around, much to my kids' chagrin/

It's so obvious the team has dynamics. It's not just Gloria. They were amazing
