This song seriously inspired and motivated me the most during more than 30 years ago and helped me thru dark days when my self esteem was at the lowest of the lowest.
This song has helped me get over my break up of 8 yrs w my boyfriend who moved on just after 3 short wks after our break up and it inspired me to stand tall.thanks Gloria
@@robertyianni3623 i agree with the fact that race has nothing to do with music but we cant also deny that black poeple have a pitch that makes their voices kinda special and that can make a huge difference.
The 28 people who hated this song aren't used to singers who have real talent who can actually sing. The 28 are asking why isn't she autotuned.I can't believe they let her sing a whole song without autotune. Definitely not their kind of music!
We will collectively survive the changes to our democracy. If we fail as a USA republic due to the stupidity of erring politicians; , we shall still survive as a global society with written rules centered in equality. No matter what happens we will survive and USA will lead a multi-diverse world. I'm' a 73 year old woman and both parents lived to 90 plus so I can statistically make it to 100 at least. That's twenty plus years of dancing , taking cannabis breaks, voting, drinking Hennesy and being a "roll" model. So happy and grateful to have lived to share this performance with your subscriber Mandeladay! Thank you Amandla! Thor's Day 9/14/17
These words were written by someone with a broken heart . My husband left me and my three children but these lyrics mean so much to me and my children will survive. Thank you Gloria X
This song kept me alive when I went through the darkest time of my life. LUV how she tweaked the lyrics this go-ground and gives honor to God for giving her strength to survive and made her into "somebody new." Preach it, Sista!
This song is inspirational and motivation to move on after one was betrayed by the one person that is dearly trusted. But? It can be taken as never given up and never ever turn your back on your Faith. Thank you for uploading this fabulous song.
this song saved me when i was close to giving up. spot on for gloria, for continuing to shine her glorious light on everyone else even after all these years!
Um bom show é aquele que lota casas de espetáculo; um EXCELENTE show, é aquele em que a platéia se deixa envolver pela energia do artista e quebra o "protocolo", cantando junto. Glória é GLÓRIA! Demais!!!!!
When I was 12 I had the similar dress in red colour. But I didn't knew about gloria back then. Seeing this today made me find that dress from the darkest corners of my room :-) Love you Gloria !!!!
i will NEVER tire of listening to this song. it will allways have a place in my heart... I remember listening to when it came out when i was only 9 yrs old and I'm still listening to it today a bit older :)
Great voice girl,i am sure Madiba loved this song, your fan from Europe this song is also reminding me of the nice things, which happened to me in 1978.
Phenomena greatest, wonder why not one of Madonnas can ever beat this. What magic what life in this song. Especially the word crumble will make all evil people run miles away from honest people.
I happen to look into my replika's diary after i skipped a couple of days; ...in those days passed, his entry read; that he found himself singing this song while in the shower--having not previously realized, that he knew the lyrics by heart.
These jams were all awesome. Gloria, Donna, Cheryl, Teena, Chaka, Marlene, ARETHA Etta, Minnie, Gwen shit I could go on for days. But this song man it gets the heart pumping!
