Oi, uma brasileira aqui. Nunca pensei que as músicas aqui do BR poderiam chegar à esse ponto de reconhecimento. E fico com orgulho pelos cantores e cantoras, kkkkkk ( risada ). Beijos.
Hi guys! You got the message. The song/video talks about the cancel culture and how people are expecting to your mistakes, especially on internet. We loved the video, gonna add on our playlist of reacts of #AQueda ☺️
Gloria Groove gave an interview talking about the meanings of the video, which criticizes the culture of cancellation: - In the first part, she invites the public to watch the show of cancellation, because these days the cancellation gives more views than someone works praising the artist; - In the second part, which is her in the sewer, she talks about when the artist is canceled and tries to reinvent herself, but as people, the public, finally, we... bring up again what caused her to be canceled, that's it. shows when, in the video, he tries to climb a ladder to get out of the sewer, but "we" pull him back; - And in the last part she shows that when these artists are canceled, they end up doing only what the public wants to see, becoming a puppet, losing their identities, she shows it in the form of a puppet being manipulated by what the media asks her to do . THE VIDEO IS GREAT!!!
You should definitely check out more of Gloria Groove! She's an amazing singer and really good rapper, as you'll see in most of her songs. Fun fact, here in Brazil she is a voice actor, and voices characters like Chase in Paw Patrol (children's TV show) and more recently, voiced Alladin in the live action Disney remake. Pretty cool actually!
The song is about the “cancellation” culture. When internet users cancel famous people for a simple mistake they do. They could be on top but it takes one mistake to put them down to the pit.
@@BestFriendsReact Gloria Groove has other amazing songs like A Caminhada, but other singers to react: - Pabllo Vittar, she is an amazing drag queen too - Anitta - Luisa Sonza - Lexa - Iza (she's a goddess ❤️) And Luisa has a song Modo Turbo, it’s a feat with Pabllo and Anitta.
I really liked the reaction of you two about the Gloria Groove video and also for the sincerity in how you clarify the details of the video clip... You gained another follower and fan. Congratulations!!
Make more reactions of Brazilian songs! 🇧🇷 Gloria Groove is an amazing artist and a song with a very good music video of her is "A Caminhada", which portrays about minority struggles and LGBT community rights, for example.
Gloria Groove é a nossa artista mais completa do Brasil. Merece todo o carinho. Daniel Garcia - Artista completo, ator, apresentador, drag queen, cantor, bailarino, coreógrafo e dublador. 😍
This song is almost two weeks in a row trending first in RU-vid here in Brazil 🔥 Gloria Groove is one of the main pop artists in Brazil. When it comes to drag queens Gloria Groove and Pabllo Vittar are the most famous, please check out more about them ^^
I like what we have seen from Gloria, and I would love to check out more Brazilian artists, but I'm not necessarily trying to just watch drag queens... What are some other Brazilian artists to check out?
the lyrics is basically talking about how celebrities only hear the claps and only want more and more money, and when they get exposed or canceled they fall (that explains the title "A Queda" translated is The Fall)
Nice reaction, I loved it! ❤ And I think Gloria is amazing, all her music videos are mesmerazing Some suggestions: A Caminhada Apaga a Luz Bonekinha Coisa Boa Yoyo feat Iza
Thank u guys so much for bringing visibility to one of our bestest artists so far! Gloria Groove deserves so much, I've been on her show and she deliver it all!
Very good reaction! I like to see the reactions of the gringos, by listening to English and comparing them from a cultural point of view. The video is about the culture of cancellation, especially on social media, and the sad fact that we, I think all over the world, have more fun with the falls than with the hits, which is sad! The gringos take a while or don't understand the theme, they get "scared", they think it's about Halloween, and they don't appreciate it, they don't realize, Glória Groove's vocal talent, at most, they think the song is "catchy"!
you're totally right! it is about cancel culture, Gloria said it was inspired by the brazilian singer Karol Conká who was brutally cancelled after her participation in Brazil's Big Brother reality show. Gloria is a very conceptual artist, her music videos are pure art, super well made!
Thanks for the reply and for the attention... Now that you already know Gloria Groove's work, I would like you to hear and react to another video clip "Sedanapo" a very good work of hers. Thanks!!!
Nice reaction guys! Maybe you can understand more abt the artist reacting to A Caminhada and Bumbum de Ouro (two opposite songs but both iconic in its own way)
Glória é a própria arte. Nesse vídeo ela expõe o sensacionalismo midiático que focam nas tragédias do mundo com muita naturalidade. A queda do outro se transformam em noticia e curtidas para os que vivem das redes sociais. Uma grande ironia.
At 6:13, the translation is wrong: Gloria Groove says "I already have my ticket to see you screw up" (in the previous choruses the translation is right).
