In 2018, me and Fleurie got asked to make a song for a Game of Thrones trailer; so we wrote the song “Gloria Regali”. Well, they didn’t end up using our song, but we had so much fun making it, that it inspired us to make an entire 10 song album in that genre. When that dragon first flies in I get goosebumps every time A drunk king once said, "Only a fool would meet the Dothraki in an open field." This was so satisfying after what the Lannisters did to the Tyrells. Dany did exactly what Lady Olenna told her to do, "Be a dragon".

I’m not an emotional person, nearly unfazed by most things in life, something I received when I was over seas during tour. However, this is what kickstarts my emotions, and believe me when i say, it takes a lot to do so. Music is powerful, music is life, music awakens, music entices, music strengthens, and makes us remember, and as such, it reminds me, that I am human. To give in once in a while, others wise, what are we deep down? You might have your own answer, I know what mine is.

This was written by my sister, she's an amazing writer. 0:15-1:19 She’s stepping out of her bedroom and walking down the hall to another room. She looks in and casts a sad (but not regretful) glance on her sleeping parents. She sings softly to them, before turning away. _Peace be with you, soul divine. Wake again in paradise. Crowned in glory. Fear no more winter’s turning-or the coming war._ She sighs. The coming war? The war has already begun. 1:20-2:06 The music picks up, taking on a dramatic and foreboding tone, and follows her as she takes her father’s armor, walks down the empty street, and steps into a storeroom, framed by the moonlight streaming through an open window. She sings as she puts on the armor, piece by piece. She sings for the glory of her kingdom and for her people, praying that they make it through this wretched time. _Gloria regali. Peace and understanding. Forever may you reign._ She steps outside and joins the throng of metal clad men climbing onto their steeds and riding out of the city. The music climbs in tension in the background as she rides alongside the soldiers, her hair hidden beneath a helmet shining in the silvery moonlight. 2:07-2:42 The army begins to sing, the sound indistinct due to the multitudes singing. Higher voices, women’s voices, join the choir. There are flashes of women singing despairingly for their soldiers off to war. They know that they are marching off to die. They gather at the crest of a hill, the sun just peeking over their heads. It glints off of their helmets and illuminates the immense (and not entirely human) army before them. Their leader raises his sword high and leads the charge- 2:43 The music stops for an instant as the soldiers, led by their general and their leader, cascade down the hillside in silence. 2:44-3:23 She rides near the front of the line. Time seems to slow as she begins to sing tremulously. _Gloria regali. Peace and understanding. Forever may you reign. Forever may you reign._ Her voice breaks on the last “reign” and she closes her eyes. The silence is abruptly shattered as the horses and soldiers crash into the other army in a deafening crash of swords and shields.

Love me some Fleurie, Love me some Tommee Profitt. And yet, I am still blown away, and I am in love with this track. And SO GLAD I wasn't the only person who thinks of Game of Thrones when listening to this track. It's astounding!!!!
