Epic beard and those were some excellent instructions that i will put to use. I still haven't found a beard barber so I've been doing it myself. The way you described what you were doing and why you were doing it was great!
absolutely brother, we're always here to support you in any way we can! You check out our beard barber map on the website and see if there is a recommended one near you! livebearded.com/pages/beard-barbers
About 6 months into my beard growth. Made a mistake and had it trimmed at 3 months, totally messed up one side. Three months later it is about 4 inches shy from where I want it. I can’t seem to find a barber around Houston Texas I trust when I get it about this guys length. Did a good job on his beard
This is our boy Parker over at Sungold Tattoo and Barbershop here in Scottsdale, AZ. We have a bunch of his videos/tutorials on our blog at www.livebearded.com
As a newer beardsman, and not really knowing how to communicate what I want or I guess the right terminology what’s the best way to go about that with a barber? Pictures, videos or rely on their professional knowledge and experience?
Hey bro! The best advice I can give when getting a bead trim is SPEAK UP. Be very vocal and very specific about what you want. Showing pictures helps greatly as well. Often times barbers will just what looks cleanest or what they feel looks best - and that will not always align with what you think. Be sure to very clearly explain what you want, don't be afraid to repeat yourself or say something if they start going a direction that you don't want!
Check out our beard map on our website, www.livebearded.com.. We also have a great blog about finding the correct barber. Check it out here - livebearded.com/blogs/do-better/how-to-avoid-a-bad-beard-trim?_pos=6&_sid=db3d27f32&_ss=r
Well...we like to think Parker is one of a kind!;) But nonetheless, i would start with looking into facebook groups, i know that has helped alot of people find a good barber!
TEXTURE THE CORNERS "DO NOT ROUND" especially with a longer thick dense Beard! My personal professional advice,- - want it as natural as possible....Beard On Men!!!
