They are so right about credit for editors. I can't think of another YT show that the editors are given so much credit and recognition. Its to the point that the fans are also fans of Jeff and Ron. I think that's awesome!
@@khaderach19 right?!? All the time now, I'll be watching some random video that popped up in my recommended feed and the editing is absolutely copied from UNHhhh. It's become so trendy now that last week I showed one of my friends a particularly funny clip from UNHhhh and he goes, "wow this show just completely ripped of (name is show I can't remember the name of)". I had to be like, "oh no!", and show him that it is in fact the other way around and his show, and a bunch of others, copied UNHhhh. There is one part of it becoming a commonly used style that I enjoy though. Trixie and Katya always act like they are shit and the show is only so good because of the editors. Well, well watching other shows trying to copy it proves that you can't just put anyone in front of the camera and have it come out amazing. It is 100% a group effort! Jeff is right in saying that they don't give themselves enough credit.
I've noticed RU-vidrs thanking their editors more 😊 Imon Snow is a fun reaction channel and their editor will even pop in and stare at the camera when something relevant happens. Pretty hilarious.
I think these two should become semi-regular guest hosts, I love the chemistry between the four of them and it’s let’s Ron and Jeff get some recognition for the work they do
The fact that Katya keeps saying she doesn’t deserve recognition for anything and jet so many iconic moments not only on UNHhhh but also on Drag Race, the pod and Netflick are just because of who she is, it’s crazy but makes me love her even more

Okay, about the one guy that had the gay-bashing experience, I've got a story similar to yours. My fiancé went into the hospital for fish poisoning (funnily enough he's a lobsterman). The nurse drawing his blood wasn't able to get any because my fiancé has a history of IV drug use. Well, he also has a fear of needles, because of how long he used IV drugs. The nurse parades out of the hospital room shouting, "An IV drug user that doesn't like needles! Ha!" Like, he was perturbed he had to do his job, but couldn't. Then, this super nice nurse comes along with the ultrasound machine, finds a vein on the inside, and draws it completely harmlessly. All while putting my fiancé at ease talking about her cute dogs. Seriously, God bless her. But, that other dude! As a Psychology major working on my doctorate, you better believe they will be receiving a Karen letter from me. That is not okay to do to people!

I love every single person involved in making that show cause I've been watching Unhhhh since the beginning, somehow managing to skip their RPDR season. I had zero context about their personalities. Instantly hooked.

My cat is fully 20 years old and has no signs of slowing down. I mean he's slow and he lays down 23 hours a day, but he's got lots of life left in him according to the vet.

Katya!!! Thank you for bringing up The Strange Thing About the Johnsons! I know the subject matter is somewhat disturbing, but I love the fact that the film addresses sexual abuse, manipulation, incest, and an incredibly dysfunctional black family. I feel like we’ve seen films or heard stories about things that hit on sexual abuse, incest, manipulation, or dysfunctional - but the major of time the starting family isn’t black/POC. I’d encourage anyone else to watch it as well… just know you’re going to wince through a lot of it.
I legit just paused to watch the 29 minutes that is The Strange Thing About the Johnsons by Ari Aster, and then came back to the pod to hear Katya start again with, “it’s WILD” and it felt like a perfect moment I needed to share… guess you had to be there.
