This is the third gloss I’ve tried and never really talked about the others because I didn’t reallyyyy think they were worth it. This is my favorite for sure. I read a q&a article on the Kerastase website that said to Shamoo, condition, and then use the gloss so that’s what I did. I just didn’t use a Kerastase shampoo & conditioner. I think it still turned out well 🤍 I wouldn’t do this regularly, but for special occasions when I would normally consider getting a Solon treatment, yess I’d do this instead. I think the price was worth it. It’s day 3 hair now and my hair is still really soft and shiny. My husband even noticed!! Kerastase Chroma Absolu High Shine Gloss Treatment for Color-Treated Hair
Hairstylist here! Most salons, depending on where you live, you can go in and get a gloss for anywhere between $30-$60 and it will last you up to 6-8 weeks! They’re much more potent because of the use of developer (low level because you don’t need anything strong to give good results). If you really want to use this product to your advantage, get a professional gloss maybe every two or two and a half months and use this product to extend the life of it so you get the great shine ALL the time ✨
Will the developer lighten your hair over time if you have it quite often (espc if you have a permanent colour) or like me have deep copper red hair naturally? I don't want to change my Natural Colour tbh🙏🏴💜🇮🇪💜🇬🇧💜
@@BangtanBangtanBusanno. Using low volume doesn’t lighten. This is why when you are using hair dye you should only use 10 vol or lower, because you are just depositing color, not lightening (usually).
Yes, you should shampoo the hair prior to applying the gloss, but it's NOT recommended to condition the hair prior to applying gloss. The conditioner seals the hair cuticle, and you won't get a good result.
Hi sarah ur hairs look great please be kind to give me some tips regarding hair thinning as i am dealing with it ❤sorry for my English because i am not a native speaker
Hii! 😍🤍Thank you! Don’t be sorry! I can give a lot of tips for what to use depending on your hair and I probably have videos .. but the first thing to do is find out why it may be happening . Are you deficient in anything (I used to be), are your hormones imbalanced, are you getting enough protein, sleeping enough, stressed or were you months ago. I have a video called things I did to grow my hair that address what I did aside from addressing my health. Also depending on how severe the hair loss is, minoxidil may be option to think about if you’ve tried everything else🤍
hi .. do u style your curly hair by a curly hair routine or blow dry your hair? i have wavy hair and i don't know how to really style them .. because i think blow drying my hair every week could damage them.. what should i do?
i tried the xmondo gloss and it made my hair feel so heavy and greasy :( i have naturally very shiny and hydrated hair, so maybe that’s why it didn’t really work for me?
I’m having trouble with my hair I recently took up heat styling again. My hair is on thicker end. I do use a heat protectant. I also use a leavin conditioner. I mask my hair regularly and mostly shampoo with a cowash. I recently went to an organic salon just for a conditioning treatment. My end still look fried and it hasn’t been that long since a trim. Help I feel like it looks unhealthy and not sexy. The salon also used a clarifying shampoo.
Protein and bond repair products may be something to look into. You definitely don’t want to overdo it with protein treatments . But here I actually did use a protein shampoo to fill in any damaged gaps in my hair. I only do this once in a while.. protein treatments are a temporary fix and can be over done. They work on the outside layer of the hair.. sometimes I’ll use bond repair treatments (still testing to find my favorites) Bond treatments will help rebuild the hair fibers and they do go deeper into the hair. For my hair type I maybe use one, once every few months. At night maybe a hair serum topped with an oil will help. I know for me it’s be easy because I have coarse hair prone to breakage, but when I stay on top of my pm haircare, it stays a lot healthier 🤍
It does!! When I take extra care of it I’ve noticed there is that natural shine…hmm Maybe it’ll just be a pre event thing since it makes my hair more manageable and less prone to humidity frizz
