Em did you run the two die cut designs back through the die cut machine after they were laminated? If so does that open it up and expose the cardstock? Thank you.

Hi Janice, Yes I generally die cut after lamination. No they don't come apart. The lamination sticks to the paper on each side, so just be sure to leave enough paper around your arrangement so there are no air gaps/air pockets on the edge once laminated. I have never had a problem, and even when using sizzeos I always cut right up to the paper edge. Test for yourself and see if you get the same results:-) Em

My first. Press flower project was laminating bookmarks I placed for bookmarks under the cover how to put it through the machine three times and they came out with air pockets all around the flowers. Any advice should I have done them singly

Hi, I generally do them singly because I get a better result. One thing I still have a hard time with is just putting pressed flowers between hot laminate. I always get some air bubbles and for that reason, when I make bookmarks I put the floiwers/leaves on a background and then laminate in the hot laminate machine of in the heat press. That way there are no air bubbles, and personally, I like the background. I really don't know how people get no bubbles with just using a hot laminate with flowers inbetween. If using a cold laminate that does not need to be put through heat, it may be better for not getting those bubbles - so play around with that and see if it makes a difference.
