Cold hands suck! So here is a quick overview of the selection of gloves I use to keep my hands toasty warm in the mountains, from thin gloves for touring, my go to riding preference, through to mittens that would be warm enough for the Antarctic.
Get your gloves right and you will have happy hands whatever the weather.

Love your videos. Got cliffed out on a tour this morning on 45+ degree chute that had basically rock with a bit of snow. Successfully climbed safely out thanks to my ice axe and skills you thought me!

Remember everyone, always take extra pair of warmer gloves with you. I consider it as a safety equipment in case something happens and you lose a glove or both

jacket over glove unless you are using ducktape or try to match with your socks

I hear if you put stinky gloves in a ziploc then in the freezer it will take the stink out.

Oh nice tip - thank you - might make a little story about that if you don't mind, as stinky gloves are pretty gross... but find that it happens more than I would like! Xv

This is a common myth. The freezing only stops the smell for as long as they are frozen. The process doesn't kill the bacteria which cause the smell it only makes them less active. but as soon as it warms up again from room temperature or hands all the stuff comes back.
