I'm having a hard time deciding on which one I should purchase..I have a 320 h/o alternator and going to be running a RUTHLESS 10K! Which one is best for my setup?
I got a 68k watt capable build. I am looking into changing from cmax this year to something else to save some space. How many of your batteries would it take with 500-700 amps of input, on demos I am running more around 20-25k
@@GloweIndustriesfinally putting her in because life took a toll for a minute but I’ll let you know today! Going to swap my old amp as well today with a jp23v2 so it should be a night and day difference between a 800w kinetic agm & the old amp being a audiotek2050.1D 2 12” Sundown LCS V2 in a ported box, I know they’re about to get over powered that’s why I’ll need to be careful with that amp😅it’s meant for my next build which is gonna be 2 15” XV3 4th order band pass, have Mostly everything just have to get back to working to finish it up😂life’s a beach sometimes
@@GloweIndustries I’m sorry for the late reply man life’s been throwing curveballs left and right but even only using 4ga swapping from an 800w agm to the glowe series 2 you could tell a night and day difference in punch and longevity. No lack of power and voltage drop is at a minimal for only having ran an agm up front and big 3 with a high output alt ran to the glowe in the trunk with an isolator to keep it nice and juiced up. The only reason I even have the agm in the front is because I couldn’t afford/wait for another glowe to do a battery delete at the time so I had to settle for an optima yellow top :/ but besides that I love every aspect of it! I’m eager to order another or two lol but for now I have to deal with another bracket that snapped & now a bolt that’s stuck in the block all after just getting it fixed up from sitting in the driveway for months doing a parts overhaul and now has an oil leak lol fml
I have 2 xs power d5100 agm batteries and a 200amp HO alt. Total rms is about 3500 watts. I want to get a series 2 and I'm wondering if I should delete the agms or leave them and just add the series 2??
I’d recommend keeping one of the AGMs and snagging a s3! We have b stock available right now (cosmetic only) and can be under $400 with the code, “5off”. Same with a series 2 - can leave one of the agm for the extra capacity, but the lithium will be doing most of the work under normal circumstances.
I have a skar svk2 4500 wired at .5 ohms hooked up to 2 xspower d3100s still dropping down to 12.5 volts runnimg a 375 amp singer alternator and debating on gettimg another svk2 4500 down the road and strapping them which one do you recommended
Running about 4000 watts to 1 sub with a factory 180amp alternator. Do you think the series 1 would be enough for a front battery delete and still be able to play my music?
I hqve a question... looking to buy a second battery for the back of my truck next to my amps.... i have a ford factory 200 amp alternator and running a total of 4000 watts of amps....what seris do you recommend and should I run a isolator? I currently have a optima yellow top battery under my hood Thank u
I'm not a fan of isolators (high resistance) and totally unneeded when hooking up a LifePo4 and a lead acid. I'd recommend a Series 1 for 4000 watts. It's more than enough to cover your electrical needs, and provides a ton of additional storage to boot.
Big3, 320 amp alt, and 2 XSpower d3400’s. Ppl say it’s still not enough to push5k. Which battery would you recommend for my situation. Temperate climate. Never gets too hot, never gets too cold.
@guestguest I'm curious what area or region you live in? I'd love to live somewhere where it never gets too hot & never gets too cold. That sounds like perfect weather to me! I've lived in the southeast US all of my life & to me spring & summer time is miserably HOT!!! And we have high humidity in the spring & summer so it always feels so sticky & gross, always sweating! Again the area you describe sounds so pleasant & perfect to me! Each summer the heat seems to effect me worse & I'm tired of living in the Southeast US.
i have a 150 amp stock alternator with a agm yellow top battery would a series 1 battery from you guys be good for a 3k watt system and should i delete my yellow top or keep it and add a series 1? i’m sorry im new to electrical in car audio lol
@@acceleratinq2277reach out to the Glowe Voltage page on Facebook? We have them listed as out of stock but we do have a handful, just not enough to open the floodgates and risk overselling them. 😂 we can get you set up.
Im running a 300 amp alt and an agm under hood, could i run the series 2 as a secondary with an isolator or should i run it parallel with agm ??? System consists of a taramps 5k and deaf bonce 400.4 and i will be adding another amp later anywhere from 5k-8k depending
I have a stock 150 amp alt and big 3 done all wire in car is 1/0 shca ofc cable and I have a jp23 v2 amp pushing a single 15 which battery is best for me if I listen to many songs on every drive i take and don’t plan on playing music while car is off
So I have a stock alternator agm under the hood and have a 3k amp I live in Wisconsin so coldest it gets is -35 f which one should I run and don’t I have to charge these before installation and run a isolator
@@AceBase5 you should charge before install yes, no isolator needed. Check out our published videos, we have one dedicated to lithium + lead acid where we test what happens. S3 is rated down to -40c (which is also exactly -40f) charge and discharge. This would cover all your needs for sure, works great with lead acid/agm and doesn’t take up much room. S2 is rated for -40 discharge and -30c charge. I don’t recommend the S1 really for -35f use.
We don't recommend these for under-hood use, but many folks do use them under their hood. They're not going to burst into flames for sure, but it is likely to shorten the overall lifespan of the battery by a few years. For example, you may get 6-7 years of use instead of the expected 10+.
I currently have 2 xs power d3400’s and a 300 amp alternator under my hood. I’m going to be running a jp83 amp on 2 RS platinum 18’s. Which series should I run for best results?
A series 3 would do well, but I'd honestly suggest maybe a Series 1. It will deliver way more power than you need, while also boasting the largest power reserve of the three.
I wanted to order a series 2 today until I notice the item is on back order. Also I tried to buy a gift card on the website but the link kept reading error.
Series 2 have been going about as fast as we can get them in stock. Next shipment is coming in 3-4 weeks tops. Can use code “Friday23” to save a bunch between now and the end of the month. 💯
We don't recommend installing these under the hood unless it's in a separated compartment. With a V4 it's probably not going to matter tooo much, but it can still get pretty hot under a hood.
I really dont drive my performace car would like the series 3 cause the weight but i wonder if it can take 5k rms amp for a couple of songs ? Stock alternator 180 amps . My titan 8 is taking a 2500 amp without charging pretty fine but the price on those is an arm and leg .
S3 would be more than fine for sure. With the car on, the IR is low enough to accept everything your alternator can produce and you’d be able to beat on it all day. 💯
