I really love this type of videos, but I can not keep my eyes out of looking how her contour look orange and patchy ,I wonder why if she always make susan look flawless
Skincare really is the key. My skin has been in great condition since I started using sunscreen , Vitamin C and retinol daily a few years ago. With smooth glowy skin , foundation or tinted moisturizer will go on easily. I don’t use ANY brush at all yet I still achieve the same look.
Wait, where is the sunscreen? And I wish she wouldve just applied the concealer with the brush, so I could've saw her actually doing it vs just talking about it and skipping it.
As far as i know RT brushes are all synthetic. Natural bristle brushes are more expensive and shed. I own exact brushes she is using in the video and some natural (not RT). Also, only one of them is duo fiber…
I have just started using Charlotte Tilbury Magic Cream and it’s so beautiful under makeup, giving a plumping, radiant glow! However, when should I use sunscreen?? If I use sunscreen OVER CT Magic Cream will I ruin the effect? If I use a serum SPF 50+ first, then wait, then use CT, will this reduce my sunscreen efficacy??
The money I pay for serums i do not want to waste any products on a brush. They get sponsored with many products so they can afford to waste products. Plus makeup artist use brushes for hygiene purposes.
Well, beside the fact that I love Nikki, Nikki and Suzanne and every lovely tutorial, I yesterday hurried up and was „lucky enough“ to get the new Sonia G. brushes (and thought well I do not know which affordable Brand makes These sized brushes, so it is worth the money) and there comes Nikki with the lovely, affordable Real Techique brushessss...😂🙈🙈🙈🤦♀️👏👍💞🌸🌺
I have combination skin and here’s what I do with my base to look glowy without getting oily throughout the day: 1. CeraVe PM lotion 2. Biore UV watery essence (really helps with the glow) 3. Nars Radiant Tinted Moisturiser 4. Charlotte Tilbury finishing powder 5. Urban Decay Setting spray (GAME CHANGER. It makes my makeup last sooo long while also keeping me oil-free yet glowy)
I’ve tried everything looking to replicate Dior because the perfume gets to me sometimes and I haven’t found anything that gives the same finish and feel. I wish they would take the perfume out for those of us with sensitive skin and noses lol
Hi Susan, I love Rae Morris makeup brushes, they are vegan, super soft and can be used on powder and cream products. They have magnets in the handle and together with the Rae Frame it's great for keeping your brushes upside down while they dry after cleaning x
If you’re not setting the entire face with powder, how do you make it so it’s not sticky? My hair always gets stuck on my cheek and when I brush it away with my finger my makeup moves.
I just got the Dios glow booster and it has AHAs how can you apply this with sunscreen? Should you put it before sunscreen and then continue with make up as usual?
Thank you for the information it is always difficult chose the right brush. I have a silly question: Why do you wear jumper? in Italy the temperature is really hot, in LA should be the same in this period
If Nikki could give me some advice, I'd appreciate it. I have vascular rosacea and have leftover broken blood vessels on my right and left cheeks front and center. I am investigating laser therapy to fix this. But for a few years now, I just wear a light layer of foundation often later in the day, as of course I like to reapply sunscreen, and also, because foundation in general exacerbates another issue, which is super dry skin. I can't keep foundation on much longer than 4 or 5 hours. This is crazy, right, but everyone talks about BLUSH. It's like the LAST thing I want, but I have at least tried... and every single time, no matter how gentle I am, the blush seems to dissolve the foundation under it and make my broken blood vessels VISIBLE again. And yes, I stipple, I do not buff.
I went out this morning and bought those Real Techniques brushes. Thank you so much for the tips on the cream products. I've never been a fan of cream blush/bronzer because it always seems like more work and sloppy to blend out and ruins the rest of my makeup. I have the Fenty cheeks out blush and it worked so much better this way and with the warming on the hand trick. I love these videos with Nikki!
I swear why does every makeup tutorial act like bronzer is a must? You'd think at least on a skincare channel they wouldn't literally promote unhealthy practices by buying into this whole "everyone looks better with a tan" bull****.
Why are makeup people always such snobs when it comes to skincare? Well tbh, dupe videos or not most are kind of snobs anyways because if you actually add up the prices for every single product in a look, even the drugstore ones, you get to insane numbers, and it's not even like having a skincare routine with many stept because the products are always so small and there's so many of them. Seriously, count them. There's like 20 products in a simple makeup look. That's double a ten step skincare routine(which, let's face it, nobody really does anymore) and with much smaller products that you'll constantly have to repurchase. "Oh but she used one cheap brush!!!" Yeah that's still not the point. The point is BUDGETING. These people haven't heard of it. They'll throw in one or two cheap things and tell themselves they're saving money when the whole of their routine costs thousands of dollars. Literally all of the products she used were unnecessarily expensive. Completely unremarkable products with huge price tags just for the sake of it. This is what I'm talking about when I say that makeup artists and youtubers and whatnot exude snobbery. It's like they can't bear to touch anything the plebians might use outside of a dupes video they're making to cash in on all those requests for it so they can wash their hands thrice after they're done with it and then go back to the Estee lauder and la mer products once they're done.
