Yeah, honestly the kids still do benefit, cause come on it’s glow in the dark rocks what kid wouldn’t love that, but it’s still something that she did for her self and I am here for it
As soon as she said that I burst out laughing and of course, this funny moment had to happen when I’m sitting next to my mom and she looked at me like I’m a crazy person

Same. Same. The rainbow ones look like fruity pebbles and I'd find the frustrating in this application, but the lovely clearly ones look like the sky and I love it! ❤
I appreciate that the rocks you purchased match your driveway better instead of looking like funfetti cake however much I like the cake. I also think it might be nice for showing where your driveway is in the dark. You can just tell company to “look for the driveway glowing in the dark” depending on how long the glow lasts.
I had a hard time keeping my daughter from collecting ours, and keeping the glow rocks in her room. Every time I found a pile, I made her put them back. Even after she moved out, I still found the rocks in her room.
Those were a good choice, it’s nice and subtle. Although, not gonna lie…. Even though it would cost a ton of money, I would love to see a neon purple or green walkway that is a solid path of light at night. Especially around Halloween.

I love the fact that you went with regular glow in the dark and not with the super duper colorful ones... The subtlety of the regular ones make it so much better.
Idk personally I like the others more just because they’re so much more vibrant. The others feel more suited to being on a bedroom vanity, bedside table or drawers
One thing also, youll never lose your driveway again as it now glows! If you line the outer edge of sidewalks or driveways with these it'd probably be easier to see where things are at night or whenever its dark out.

This is honestly brilliant-- the rocks provide locational visibility to the driveway, without shining an obnoxious light across the neighborhood! I say go whole hog, and add even more to the pile 🥳
I would have the urge to replace the entire gravel driveway with glowing rocks, I'm crazy enough I would dig all the rocks up an replace with glowing rocks, sadly for me but luck for my bf our house has a paved driveway...

Aaaahhh! I’ve never seen these before! And I have a gravel driveway! I’m totally getting some! Funny driveway story: about 7-8 years ago, my daughter had a friend over for the weekend, and since we live in the country, they wandered around outside, just walking and talking and giggling as young teen girls do. They had a great weekend together and then the girl went home and things were normal…for 2-3 weeks, and then it rained a lot, and all of a sudden I noticed these strange little colored balls everywhere in the driveway and no idea what they were or where they were coming from.❔❓❔ They just kept popping up out of nowhere. A day or two later, I finally gathered up a small handful and brought them to my kids to ask if they knew what they were. My daughter started laughing and told us she knew. Turns out they were some kind of novelty toy item (forgot what they’re called now) that look like bath beads when dry, but when water is added to them, they grow into these little marble-sized (or smaller) gelatin-like balls of color. Her friend had brought a package for each of them to sprinkle around our very long driveway and wait to see what happened, and, of course, not tell anyone. They enjoyed the reaction to their little prank for a while, because the little balls would shrink when they dried out and then swell again with the next rain. 😂 Whew! At least there was a reasonable explanation. I was beginning to think we had a unicorn running rampant on the farm leaving a colorful trail of poo in its wake. 😂
I’ve come to the realization that one of the most fun parts of being an adult is being able to react to your chaotic thoughts you had as a kid because you have the money to do so 😂

In sweden we got moose, even in the more human populated areas, when there is a moose outside, or even a deer in out garden just chilling, we do not go outside. We stay inside. If I see a moose while walking, and its blocking my path, I am going back the way I came as camly as possible- you do not fuck with the moose

@dimitrijekrstic7567 you cant exactly use a flashlight while attempting to find a gravel driveway on a cloudy night. That sounds really dangerous and not that helpful. Little glowing pebbles that clearly show me the location, relative incline, and length of the driveway? Super helpful
@@madibarton you'd actually be surprised at the amount of situations it's incredibly unhelpful to be using a flashlight. It's always good to have one, but not great to always use it
This made me ball. My mom used to get these rocks every summer for camping season. They were so easy and fun to pick up when we were younger. I’ll always miss her and everything will always remind me of her

I liked the stone ones best as they didn’t scream at you that they’re going to glow in the dark. They’ll just quietly sit there waiting to surprise everyone 🥰
One year for my parents Christmas gift, I made stepping stones with glow in the dark pebbles. They put them all throughout their garden and it was beautiful at night❤
@rallitas11q , I went to Dollar Tree and got aluminum pans in a couple of different sizes. I got a bottle of Pam spray to spray in the bottom of pans. I got a bag of quick set concrete. I first laid out the pans and sprayed the pans. I then lay rocks in different designs in the bottom of the pans. Then, mix concrete and pour in each pan carefully. Shake each pan to make as flat as possible on top and to get air pockets out. Then let them all air dry. Once fully dried they should pop right out of aluminum molds😊
