That is a gorgeous card! I love the colors of the patterned paper you used for the leaves, the turquoise and orange goes so well with the gold… just stunning!! I really like the mixed media techniques and such you used for this card. I have little jars with wax, they must be at least 15 years old. But they are most likely still usable. And then you added lace… Not at all what I would, but it works so well together. Thank you so much for these kind of techniques, I don’t mind if you show more! Thanks 👍

Hi Natasha. The card that you created in full is fantastic. I would definitely give this a try. I have wax and a glue gun. This technique is truly beautiful and the only limit is one's ability to create shapes/patterns with your glue gun. Outstanding job as always. TFS. Keep well. 💙🤗

Love, love, love this!!! And I might have even turned the card to open upwards with sentiment on the white part (I would have created my own by maybe script in faux calligraphy). They make silicon rubber tips for your fingers that you wear when using your hot glue gun. They just slip off and on and you don't get burned any more. Amazon has them and they are very inexpensive. Tiny bit of a pain to use at first but the first time you don't get burned it's all worth it.

When you made that great big leaf I gave in and wrinkled my nose. But! This is Natasha! And of course you gave us an absolutely wonderful technique to try! I'm headed off to make some butterfly wings. I don't have wax so I'm going to try using my mica powders. Maybe a light layer of glue to hold the powder. But the wax seems the best solution. Anything else than the wax? The shine just hits the mark. This is way too pretty and should stay up-front in my crafting technique brain. Yep. I am going to have to make myself a book. I hate forgetting your wonderful technques!! Ytube is a blessing. I've gone back more than once to remember something you've taught!!! Oh! Ideas are coming! Vellum, micro glitter, butterflies, splatters. No splatters! .......... acetate, petal soft, bumblebees.... more glitter (kidding)... early summer flowers, lavender.... would a hummingbird fit in? Probobly not. Natasha, you definitely are a key that opens my creative side and thank you so much. I've been dark for so long it's wonderful to be thinking again.

Girly poo, how on EARTH can you be "impatient" if you're a school teacher (lol)? My daughter teaches 5th grade and the stories she tells me....lol, lol, lol!!! I would be eating razor blades in the first hour of school if I had to deal with what she does!!! Once again, you demonstrate that creative streak of yours! This is SO unique and the card/leaves are so pretty. IF you decide to use a sentiment strip like the one you showed, I think it would be more appealing if you placed it on the white portion of the card vertical rather than horizontal. When used as you suggested, I think it distracts from the leaves and the card in general (imo!). TFS! Good grief! Once again, I'VE demonstrated I can't leave a short, sweet comment! I have to write a "book"!!!!

What a great idea!! You are genius!! I would keep that one too!! I have a question that I have never heard anyone mention. Do RU-vid makers get any $$ for having people go to Facebook or Instagram? I always try to support the channels but if I don’t know that it helps them, then I usually don’t bother to go over there. Recently I became suspicious (maybe curious is better) because another maker started only putting her finished cards on the other sites. I don’t care for her method but if I knew that it helped then I’d want to do it! Thanks for listening to my question! I love your channel just even to hear your happy voice!!💕

The tremendous problem with "hot glue" is, that it is no glue at all, it's simply heated PLASTIC. It also does not dry, it just hardens again while the temperature goes down. Please keep this in mind. As you said in this video, it stays around a long time. The weird thing about today's world is, that some people do understand, that they need to reduce their daily use of plastic for the sake of the children and following generations. But when it comes to DIY, the same people forget about this totally. So sorry. :'(

The leaves originally started out on a orange and yellow background. But when you put them on the card they looked like they had a little blue or blue-green in the centers. Did I miss a step? Did you add a dab of ink, paint, or some more rubbing wax? I really liked the leaves with a little bit of blue as I thought it made it look more autumn-ish. I would like to do some thing like that only use the color purple. Because when I lived in the Midwest in the autumn, the leaves would get a purple hue to them.
