Always remember that your past self doesn't matter it's what you do now, you can choose to apologize you can choose to work on yourself not that I know your circumstances but people in general arent perfect at all, even the most perfect seeming people have tons of flaws you cant see. It's just so normalized for people to hate on even one small flaw they see, but it's really normal. We are all human, so are you. You have your own feelings and thoughts and most of all you don't want to be hurting those around you. That's all that really matters, I wish the best for you
