Glycine Combat Sub: 39mm vs. 42mm....Which one is the better watch?

I know this isn't the type of video you'd expect from my channel, but I really wanted to show this comparison between the Glycine Combat Sub 42mm and the Combat Sub 39mm. Both are good watches, but one is definitely a better watch in my opinion. Which one is better in my opinion? Watch the video and find out.

This is probably the best rundown/review of the 39mm on RU-vid. Out of all the watches out there, this 39mm is the most overlooked by RU-vidrs. Thank you for this, about to buy my own as a first watch purchase.

Ah, someone else who has more than one expensive hobby! Love my watches (though tend to wear a Garmin more than anything else these days) and radios. Add in 4WD’s, guns and knives, and my wife just rolls her eyes when I go shopping. 🤣

Very informative! I'm looking at the 39 to replace my Mako II when it finally dies. I wish they had a white dial option though. That would be sharp looking.

Hi! Thanks for a good review/comparison. How does the patina on the indecies look live. About to pull the trigger on the 39mm green bezel one, but the patina looks very yellow on some pictures.

@@mikkojarvinen3385 That's a great question. The lume on both of those watches is kind of a faux patina, which some people hate, but works on this style of diver that has a more retro feel. The 39mm is definitely more yellow than the 42mm, but not obnoxiously so.
