There is no way you can store enough compressed air on board to make this worthwhile. The only way to increase range would be to increase the pressure the air is stored at. The amount of work it takes to increase air pressure is no where near linear, thus the more you compress the air, the less efficient the energy transfer from electricity to air pressure becomes. There is no such thing as free energy.
Agreed free engine doesn’t exist…..solid point…which is why they are trying to create a more stable body/chassis to help create a better compression system for the car
TheProblem is.How do you get pressurized air?You use electricity which comes from a coal fired plant or some other fossil Source. So you're still not green. These people are just leading you on and b.Yes.And you just like they did with the electric cars
Although the generation of electricity is currently not at an ideal level of green, it is evolving in that direction. It's no reason to "throw in the towel" on the EV idea. One big point is that they are still cheaper to operate as you can get at least half of a gas tank worth of driving range for $2 by charging it overnight in your garage. If everyone is going to be running their personal compressors at night to "charge," then it still has the same advantages.
That’s a solid question…I don’t know if gm ceo would want to team up with Elon…she selfish and would want to keep all the profits/tech/credit for herself
compressed air is MADE with gasoline or electricity, then stored at a massive net energy loss. lmao. this is decades old tech that went nowhere. ever heard of a steam engine?
We definitely mentioned the history of this tech did come from steam engines years ago…but the goal is to take it to the next level which we mentioned toward the end of the video….advancement is all about improving on the past/history to make a brighter/better future. Ty for watching
@@CarInfluence623 Fords lev a car was compressed air car at the 1964 worlds fair. useless then. resurfaced in the 90s. useless then too. Resurfaced in 2009 ish by french MDI "CAC" compressed air car, again, useless. All PROVEN to be so ineffecient it would Increase "green house gas" in the atmosphere due to the production and storage of compressed air being so inefficient. Air Compressors only deliver about 10% of the energy consumed to useful output, the rest is wasted as heat. This is why running the AC for example in your automobile consumes so much extra fuel.
Sounds like this will NEVER reshape the industry, so nice try with the misleading title. EV battery fires are rare enough now that they aren't a bigger safety hazard than ICE vehicles, but I doubt anyone would want to drive around on a massive and highly compressed air tank - even without combustion, that's one small accident away from a massive and deadly pop.
Thank you for commenting but my channel is not AI. My team works hard on each video and I will defend them to the core. And thank you for watching as well. All the best.
