Good morning Lethal, Something very cool happened today. Due to the original selling dealer (Starling Chevrolet in Orlando)being extremely rude at the time of sale of my 2SS, GM gave me a $500 credit towards accessories. So I'm getting my front fascia extension for 88 bucks. Coming this week. I'm stoked! :)) Thanks for the install guide. It's one of the first videos from you I watched. By the way can't wait to see the sound and dyno vid's for your new SW CAT Back System.
Thanks very much for the video. Great reference for me. Installed mine this afternoon by myself. Worked out perfectly! I appreciate the videos you put out! Thanks!
Dude, I just noticed. Your the guy on the Titan Fall2 tech test forum hahhaa. thats nuts! Dude i envy what you got goin bro lol BTW. TF2 is EXCELLENT. Very exited to play this weekend.
Mine has the rivet holes but didn't come with rivets. Also are we supposed to use the bolts from the car or the screws that came with it? And are you supposed to put more tape on it?
You can order this part from GM directly or at your dealer, but these sites have better prices: GMPartsOnline - bit.ly/1qBkaCu+ GMPartsDirect - bit.ly/1qBkgKd ShopChevyParts - bit.ly/1qyRQAk SS Part Numbers: Paint to Match - 23301611 Red Hot (G7C) - 23301612 Summit White (GAZ) - 23301613 Silver Ice Metallic (GAN) - 23301614 Nightfall Gray Metallic (G7Q) - 23301615 Mosaic Black Metallic (GB8) - 23301616 Black (GBA) - 23301617 LT Part Numbers: Paint to Match - 23301618 Red Hot (G7C) - 23301619 Summit White (GAZ) - 23301620 Silver Ice Metallic (GAN) - 23301621 Nightfall Gray Metallic (G7Q) - 23301622 Mosaic Black Metallic (GB8) - 23301623 Black (GBA) - 23301624
Just put this on my 22 1lt. Did you have a gap on each side where you can see the tape between the body and splitter? I posted on camaro6 about this as well.
Does the GBA black front extension facia matches the stock grill color ?i have a stock 2017 SS convertible I want to match the grill color my car is the metallic silver
How's the front splitter holding up? By this I'm asking if it's show signs of impact of debris striking it. I know splitters sit so low and being up front, they can take a beating! I had the one on my previous car protected with clear bra material. Is this something you think it would benefit from? I just got mine on yesterday and it's such a nice piece, I'd hate to see it jacked up. Appreciate the thoughts and trying to make a decision before installation. Thanks!
So Im planning on getting the 6th gen camaro sometime early next year but i can't decide whether to spend the extra money to get the lowering package or just add it later like you did. Now that you've gone through the process would you do it all over again? Did you end up saving some money? Whats your suggestion?
I couldn't tell where the tape attached exactly but would you say it would be wise to do this before paint protection film or could you get away with it after you think?
looks good glad to see the mods are starting. curious to if you were to put pressure on the front center portion or off to either side of the splitter, if it gives any indication of gap or separation from bumper? Or do the rivets do a good job of holding in place?
I'm curious if you are glad you did the entire body kit now or wish it was still front and back...t-minus 8 days until I get mine so I'm just picking your brain, loving all your vids
I know this is an old video, wished I looked this up. Damn I didn't know where to put the stupid tape and put it along where the bolts when in. Crap! Just did it last night. I don't know what to do if anything. Crap! Took me forever to pick a style and then I F it up :( If you read this could you please let me know what you would do if anything. I would appreciate it. 😭
+Ariel “FirebladeNW” Osorio Chevy site is full of fail and I can;t direct link. But it is a OEM GM LPO part. Lookup front fascia extension on their site or at your dealer.
