@@majungabungabecause people who first played gmod in 2020 find it spooky. I remember seeing Garry’s mod 9 as a kid and being ecstatic, I love sandbox stuff. Then by the time I got it (2013) it was close to how it was nowadays. Didn’t start becoming shitty until 2017 though. I still can’t find some of the mods I first downloaded nor the videos I saw. Looked like someone testing CS weapons on Zombies if I remember correctly on Gmod9 or earlier, then the mod was a firework mod using the classic 500lb bomb model with red, white, and blue stripes. Sounds goofy Ik, but man. What a game. Modern gmod Doesn’t even hold a match to the supernova that early Garry’s mod was
The camerawork, sound effects, motion blur (and the vhs effect, probably acchieved by capturing the game with a real vcr) is really amazing, holy fuck, good job!
@@dontwatch oh, ok. The realistic camera shake I'm kinda stumped on how he did it. But my guess is that he motiontracked a camera in real life, and put that into Gmod or some 3D Animation software like Blender idk.
I'm just guessing, but my theory of how you made this was the use of the VR mod for realistic camera movements/walking speeds, video editing for the Camcorder-type filter and lighting transitions, and finally some sound editing to add the realism of holding a Camcorder. Either way, brilliant work! I'd love to see more content like this. I'll be your 200th subscriber because of it :)
As a beginner 3D artist I think the use of the VHS filter to make this look a little more realistic is amazing. Clearly the VHS filter wasn’t all however, this looks insane.
@@brickistic8188 it is not, the guy made a video of playing gmod in VR and then filmed the video with a VHS camera to make the VHS effect. Don’t answer every comment without actually knowing how the guy made it.
это выглядит как если какой-то чел с камерой попал в гарика харламова 😨 Ну и ленолиумные пространства (или как их там), "камера из 90-ых" и вся вот эта фиготень конечно придаёт жути атмосфере
I wonder how much you would have to pay real people to make gm_construct a real place. Probably like a couple million for the buildings and materials and also the giant pond
