@@RobsNeighbor I was hired 5 years too late at my local transit company. The last one was retired in 2002 and was hired in 2008. Drove lots of Classic however, until they were retired also in 2015. Now it's exclusively Novabus, regular 40' and 60' articulated.

Man, old buses were so cool. What ever happened to style? It's really a shame. I use to work at Adirondack Trailways in NY when they phased out their last few Eagles with those cool windows in the roof up front. Loved those things.

Put the raised floors and reclining seats back in it. Make sure the A/C is working and just enjoy it. Oh, and clean it and repaint the lower sides from under the windows silver as they were originally. Around the windows should be white. That is the way it was meant to look from new. No ugly stripes.
