The BOM comes with parts for 3 different rear shock configurations out of the box. Here I go over how to set up the V configuration and the standard shock hoop configuration.

It's definitely unique and my favorite setup. I've gone all-in and ordered the cantilever upgrades. Will post video when I get them in!

I like how there are options the the rear shock set ups. How does it effect the rear roll stiffness?

Yes, having options are always good. The V setup is definitely stiffer with the stock springs and shocks. You'd need to get softer springs to soften it up. The traditional setup really depends on your shocks, springs and shock angle positioning same as most other trucks.

Yo Soze, thinking about picking one of these chassis kits up, going to run 4.19s, is it a decent platform?

Yes it's a decent platform. I mean it's pretty much very close to the SCX10.2, but with a different transmission, motor location, and prettier looking "RockJock" axles. Cantilevers too if you decide to go that route. I would say the only downside is that there are no overdrive options if you want to keep the stock transmission and axles. Other than that, I like the rig a lot, and was actually planning on running it again, but I'm waiting for some parts before I do.

Do both setups articulate the same amount? And are the compressed and extended lengths of the axle travel the same?

The Cantilever setup has a bit more articulation but limits you to the 313mm wheelbase. The V setup is stiffer with the same springs/shocks, but also a little more stability with the ability to change wheelbase lengths. The Cantilever setup does improve with the swaybar added.

Does the third setup fit with the cage in the rear??

No it does not. To have that kind of setup with the cage, you'd probably have to use some shock keys off the frame rails and have the shocks angle forwards.

I don't recall who was complaining (some other video?), but having multiple options for the rear is always great for uniqueness and tuning!

It may have been Harley designs and scale builders guide, they were not to enthused about it. I see it as a improvement on the other kits as there are more options for a scale builder. Your able to fit a full 3/4 interior and full depth bed.

@@Warwick3511 Personally, I like it. One of the better implementations I've seen for a cantilever setup so far.
