In the Main GMAT Focus Official Guide 2023 and Data Insights Official Guide there are only Data Sufficiency questions under the Data Insights section? IR questions look missing?

Data Insights has replaced the IR section completely.

thanks for the video! waiting for the review on Data Insights section questions. I already have the gmat og 21 and planning to skip geometry and SC although since DI section holds equal weightage i think og24 focus edition is a must buy.

👍Agree. You don't need to get OG2024 if you already have the OG21. You have the same IR/DI questions in the online question bank and the same questions in the book. -BB

P.S. We are working on some DI videos. Need another month to get them done and out more or less.

Thanks for the video, ma'am. I really need a little help. i am currently just solving forum questions, and my accuracy is as follows: RC (600-700 level): 60-70% CR (650-700 level): 80-90% accuracy DS and PS (650-700 level): 60-70% accuracy My current approach is to cut all SC and geometry questions and level my accuracy at 80% for each. then shift to the 700-750 level with 80% accuracy. then do a mix of the same with 750-800 level questions with 70% accuracy, and then give the GMAT. Could you please provide feedback as I recently only started with my prep and self-study material, and it is working nicely for me (GMAT Club videos and forum)? As I wish to score 750 and have plenty of time to prepare, I can even use an entire year for perfection.

Hi, a few recommendations and some advice since you have asked :-) 1. GMAT is not a test you want to prepare a year for. Ideally you would study for 3 months only. Studying 6 months is worse than studying for 3 months and studying for a year is much worse than studying for 3 months. There are many reasons but they all bring it down to one bottom line - do not spend a year but focus on getting the test prep done in 3 months. (you will end up taking 4 but that's OK) 2. If you want to get a score higher than 600, you need to get through a lot of easy and medium level questions to hit a handful of hard questions. It is a mistake to focus only on the hard questions. Why do humans learn to crawl and then to walk and then to run, should not we teach babies to run right away? There is a reason you take easy and medium questions. 3. If you are looking for 750, you need to hit 90% accuracy on a combination of 3 easy, 3 medium, and 3 hard questions. You can only make 1 mistake. This is a very very back of napkin calculation. 4. Make sure you are not only taking questions but actually cover strategies how to approach questions and timing and material from some books like Kaplan or MGMAT or a course. These will teach you a lot, give you some good strategies, and cut down on wasted time and frustration. -BB.

@@GMATClubFocusEdition I really appreciate the insights and will align all the mentioned points and try clearing it ASAP. Will also prepare in a 1:1:1 split in E:M:H level questions aiming at virtually 10:10:9 accuracy.

Hi, I have the GMAT OG 22, verbal and quant review 22. Would you suggest that I buy only the new DI book and practice the remaining concepts (except SC and GEOMETRY) from the 22 books?

Hello, i will take the GMAT focus but i already have the GMAT OG 2022. Do you think it is enough to study from that one or i should study from the OG 2023? Thanks

Is the difficulty level mentioned in the OG resembles the one tested in real exam ? I find GMAT club 700+ level questions much more difficult.
@GMATClubFocusEdition

The OG questions are the closest to what you will find in the real exam. When you are solving the GMAT Club questions always look at the tags to check where the question originated from.
