I brought some friends and really enjoyed the show. Wasn't it a wonderful day for exercising the old equipment. We ran out to the old overpass to see your convoy and it was sure photographic. Say hi to Mr Colombo for us. Maybe some day you can find an old Pugeaut convertible to restore for him. Bill
Hello driver! You have got some really nice trucks. Don't depart from them anytime soon. Grasshoppa looking mighty fine, sharp!! Great job on all your trucks!!!! Hats off to you sir! 10-4 driver im gone
Grass hopper is perfect !!!👌 i like that your trucks look like they should. No stupid drop visors gangster bumpers and too much polished stainless steel. Well done !!
They make remote control tow truck lights now. The magnetic light bar has no wires just a battery. They're pretty cool. Does whatever the tow vehicle does. (Some assembly required) Love the cabover!
Great movie remake clip. He does favor Steve McQueen on the sides. Grass Hopper looked fantastic. Too bad he wasn’t quite ready. Keep up the great work
O-H-I-O Porters🇺🇸 It was good to have Ray there with you to help. I’m glad you showed the floor of the Pete. I will have to look at it the next time we see ya! WOW! You had plenty of good help, even before we showed up. Thanks for letting us help you out a bit that Friday. We captured some great moments! I can sure remember the movie Duel! You as the Dirty Psycho Trucker…well, I have to chew on that one for a bit! You guys had some fun…Grasshopper, a true ghost truck! You never know what will happen when a bunch of Truckin Gearheads get together now do ya?! We all had FUN! And the show was quite EXCITING! Blessings my friend. 🥰🥰✌️
@@DaneScottsTRUCKERSLOUNGE I never could understand why the tires kept squealing on the gravel or why the driver kept banging gears without moving his arm. 🙂 Too many slackers in the movie business.
Dane it is such a joy to watch you work, your artistic temperament that you are born with that gives you the ability to write songs and customize, paint jobs, etc. such a fresh outlook on how to rebuild an old vehicle, adding in things like Mötley snickering and other things are fun
Good morning I was reading your reply and looking at some others and I forget who you were talking to but at the end of the reply you said threes to you we gone. I haven’t heard that expression in so many years the nostalgia for trucks and appreciation to you just keeps coming on your channel.
Beautiful Dane , that 2 tone Green and the accent colors sure POP on Grasshopper when it was brought out in the Sun , true Late 60' early 70's colors,, im with you Pistol Pete needs some "" SHAG "" , and ole Blue Jay is Standin Proud !!!! Again wish i could've made the show but hopefully 🤞🤞 next year , i see JR's over in Cleveland had a decent looking -- from 1-90 -- R Model park in front Saturday afternoon when i came by , as always Dane Safe Travels and thanks to you and your crew for bringing these vids and Savin the Old Iron 👍👍👍👍
Grasshopper is so awesome, but man, it would be some loud to work on with the cab up. I wonder why they chose to install the mufflers to the cab instead of frame mount. I know some of the old Pete cabovers also had the same setup. I bet many mechanics swore when they had to work on one of these.
Just a guess, it was cheaper to put the mufflers on the cab instead of making frame mounts for the mufflers. Some GMC Crackerbox trucks had he mufflers mounted just like those
