I got a lot of respect for you man after watching this video and the time that you took and teaching your son how to use his tool correctly thank you for being a good father to your son black community needs more people like you my brother!
You've created another bass head and you were patient and teaching. That makes a huge difference for them hating something or loving it.....no stress just bonding and learning
Awesome job my guy! Nothing like having your kid with you learning from daddy! I know it’s so much easier to install a new bracket, but for those that like to be creative or may be frugal, you can cut your own adapter out from the stock speakers.
They have speaker harness so you don't have to cut wires... plus how do you like the skar mids and highs?? Thinking of doing the Spx-6.5s with the Deaf Bounce 5.2 for a 3-way setup in all 4 doors
@@Monsta2592 I couldn't find them for that truck, but the skar r lovely I did a full skar build on my own truck & its super loud,I love them u cant go wrong with the set up u trying to do just power them up with the right amp
Great video, awesome that lil man gets to learn and help out. I made a lot of friends growing up, helping them learn about stereos and systems, and a lot of money. Done a lot of installs just like yours here. One suggestion, because you clearly do a lot of this. Get a few rolls of various width and thickness foam weather stripping. Put foam back where the old speakers had it. Beefing up speakers can lead to a lot of rattling in the interior.
Yes sirrrrrrr hes always giving a helping hand, & yea ur right about that becuz I did the on my own personal cars & a few other ones so yea I'm have to make that apart of the installment, I appreciate u for that
Man this is beautiful! I wish my dad would have taught me like this! Wait..... I didn't have a dad... Oh, and we never had a vehicle either..... ok. Nevermind.. 😅
I have the Bose in my 2021 GMC Sierra. The rear door speakers are horrible. Not even sure they are Bose. Getting 4- 8inch subs for under the rear seat. I like my bass.
I just put the same speakers in ‘14 Silverado but the magnet hits what I’m guessing is the window guide rail that comes down. The top of the speaker bracket sits about 1/4” away from the door panel now. Hopefully it’s fine that way, we’ll see.
Hey came across your video while installing the same setup in my 2018 GMC Sierra slt 1500 crew cab, I seem to be having an issue with the tx69 magnet hitting my window guide bar. Doesn't seem to me you had that issue, can you link me to the adapters you used please.
@@estebancarrillo607 I dont remember the link but it will be for the car model that u have, all I did was type speakers bracket with the truck information with it, & itll point u right to the one that fits ur car
I don't think you really need those brackets for the front speakers. If you look at the factory bracket it looks exactly the same. I think you could get away with just cutting it out with a little circle saw and use the factory bracket to mount the 6x9s in there
