what about it? it's possible but still would be picked up in a lot of different ways because no matter what, there would need to be enough size cumulative which is relatively easy to pick up.

Another great assessment! What on earth caused $TOP to go from trading at $6.25 on 26-Apr-2023, to $256.44 two days later? Then, fall back to Earth? Short squeeze? Gamma squeeze? Meme sneeze? Are there any clues in the options data? Great mysteries!

Hey man! One isn’t inherently better than the other. Really comes down to how long you want your expiration to be, and where liquidity is best. I tend to gravitate towards the standard expirations - more liquidity.

I notice that the oi for September is much lower than the months leading up to and after. I'm still somewhat new to options so not sure how to read that. October and January have significantly more oi. Is that of interest in your opinion?

it's a little far out to read too much into it since the overwhelming activity is still focused on the near-term expiries. it would be more interesting if that's where the centralization of activity was.

Thanks sir for update. You talked about people (bag holders from year out) dumping that are holding bags at $26, but I say they would have dumped on May run up and June run up, and not now?

absolutely could be - i wouldn't consider them mutually exclusive. you have to also consider the people during may might've been holding out hoping that they'd see a huge move to get paid out on then froze when it came back down, etc. lots of complex and often non-optimized decision making in markets.

I live on ramen, but I did not sell a single share at 68, I could, I did not, am I the only one regarded like this ??? i want MOASS, not (I could sell for a Tesla car, for example, 5figure profit, 2-3years of life income, but I turned that offer DOWN). Your analysis about POC selling to justify the drop down below $25 is completely wrong. AMC has a different POC from where it dropped today, yet the selling started at the exact same time as GNE, at 11:15 am. This is algos not shareholders selling

i think you're overemphasizing my point re: POC being "the reason" but i absolutely believe it's "a reason" that is part of likely many others. side note, your assessment of POC in AMC is a completely different context, it becomes MORE important when price is around it. so realistically, your example there supports my point. the relationship and movement between GME and AMC is another story that has very interesting elements to it but it's not as linear as a lot of people cite.
