I could see a possible GME and Chewy merger. I'm sure Chewy would love Ryan Cohen and Larry Cheng back. Plus they have a similar supply chain infrastructure, so it would benefit both companies under a unified brand. What's interesting is Chewy is also in XRT and now has a higher weighting than GME. A merger would mean shorts on both companies have to close as a new ticker is issued. If the cellar box theory is true, there are more shares shorted than actually exist. I think evidence is GME issued 115M shares and the short interest barely dropped. If it is cellar boxed, each new share that is issued has to be partially shorted for the shorts to maintain control. Right now, GME has the shorts trapped in the cellar box and can milk shorts over time. If a dividend is issued, shorts have to pay the dividends. Meaning passive income for investors without having to sell. Powell turned on the money printer again (Look at reverse repo trend). They are pumping liquidity into banks to prep for something. Could be to help Japan, could be to help our own failing banks. The markets are waiting until Papa Powell gives guidance while the debt payments in RRP rack up for the govt.

Hey dude great videos. Do you ever dive into “max pain” on the option chain, especially for GME. Even in extremely high volatility events, it seems like at the end of the week the price always ends around “max pain”.

Did some of those big 5,000 contract buys on Chewy get sold yesterday? I’d seen people saying OI went down today and that it looked like some of those were sold. I think there was 5,000 for 6/28 expiration and then for 7/19 expiration, but I can’t recall strikes.

I didn't see anything that size at the bid. largest over the past (2) weeks at the 30 was 2,486 offloaded yesterday at 1.25

Did that person who got the 11 strike expiring today most likely exercise? If so, what does that possibly do to the price moving forward? Market makers have to go buy those now? Or would they have already done it?/had em on hand? Thanks!

Great question - it's very likely they would've had the position covered for today. it's very highly likely it was exercised.

Can someone explain to me how that person who bought the $11 GME calls and if they exercised them is going to make money if they paid $14.75 per contract? Unless I have overlooked something? Wouldn’t that mean that their break even is now $25.75? They could sell covered calls but the spreads are huge and no strike price above $11 even a few months out is going to net them $14.75 per contract.
