GMM Pfaudler Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE) - Construction and Operation 

This video shows the construction of a Wiped Film Evaporator (WFE) also called as a Thin Film Evaporator (TFE or ATFE) with its major components and also demonstrates the separation of components, by differences in volatility, using a WFE with top vapor outlet design. This design is suitable for separation of viscous & temperature sensitive products and is used as a short residence time reboiler in many distillation column applications.
