I have this video when it came out on VHS cassette in the late 80's when i was in the military! I also have the "The Beginner's Complete Setup & Flying Guide Manual For R/C Model Helicopters" (something along those wording) by Ray Holester. . . .Ray Hostetler. . . .???, cant remember how his last name went. I have the 1st edition Hirobo Shuttle that i bought over in Hong Kong during my 1988-1989 West Pack Indian Ocean Cruise & I also have the 2nd edition Shuttle. . . . the Hirobo Shuttle ZX. . . . which again i bought in Hong Kong comming back from Operation Desert Storm in 1991. The 1st edition shuttle has around 6hrs of flight time just learning how to hover + 1 minor crash & the 2nd edition shuttle zx has absolutley 0 hrs of flight time, is still brand new, & sits on top of my computer shelf here in my living room 33 yrs later it gets dusted off every now & then! I hope to someday have it airborn. . . we shall see. . . maybe😃👍🏻
Amazing You have footage of Bob Sr. at the controls of one of the Mi-24 giant scale target drones that GMP sold for around $80,000 ! Thats epic! I started on GMP cobra back in 87, and still have a couple competitor 60s, one stock display worthy, and one restored and flight worthy bird modernized with the latest electronics and 3 axis stabilizer. Competitor with a spektrum 2.4ghz radio, and the IkoN computerized FBL flight stabilizer/augmentation flies as good as anything new, and looks better
ive still got a unflown jetranger...mechanics been used up though as spares. had some issues with the mechanics when building, started making parts, ended up with a mostly scratch built- a clip of it flying on my page, i'll have to upload some video of the mechanics...
