I purchased a dashskin.com skin for my 1998 GMC Sierra because I had a cracked dash. This is the install video. Overall I am very satisfied with the skin, way better than the cracked up dash.
Funny how they use to put their logo on their silicone just installed mine and its still curing from like 4 days ago or so that silicone smell is strong but over all really happy with how it came out definitely adds a bunch of value to the truck
@@sergiogarcia2262 same here. Just did mine yesterday and went to snap the bezel back in and the right side won't snap in place. I'm going to trim down the right side with a drimmel. I'll use some masking tape to make a straight line. Hopefully.

Yes it can, if your OEM dash isn’t destroyed/cracked around the bolts then you can drill holes in the dashskin and just take the OEM bolts out and put them over both the OEM dash and the dashskin.
@@jimmycorbett4611is there a gap between the skin and OEM dash? Would it need some kind of spacers behind it? It looks completely flat and good with the bolt heads behind the skin
It’s almost impossible to find a used dash from one of these trucks from a salvage yard that isn’t already cracked. But if you find one in really good condition then yes. I’ll also occasionally see them sold on places like EBay in good condition but they’re often over $1,000. These DashSkins are probably your best bet unless you’re doing a high dollar restore.
