This was surprisingly emotional, you got me a lil teary eyed my guy. You're really getting good at weaving a narrative through-line in your documentary work, can't wait for whatever else you do~
Would love to see next artists from the 07th Expansion like zts, -45 (Yoshikawa-45 for what i've searched) and others next up. And keep the series going because they are amazing
hell yeah, finally a gmtn video! been waiting for it for a long time it's sad that he is no more in terms of music production but as someone said, "don't cry because it ended, be happy because it happened" also that gwyn theme - thanks for laughs
What an interesting video. I found Gmtn in 2017 through osu, even though I wasn’t playing the game till 2021. Furioso Melodia caught me more than any song ever and I am pretty sure it is my most heard song ever. I mean I still hear it till this day. In the last few months of playing the drumset, I want to do music myself, especially this type of music. Wherever gmtn is I hope you are doing great and thank you for being such a big inspiration. You are a living legend
I usually never comments, but you made me super interested and excited for 35 min hearing about the mysterious guy behind furioso melodia and trappola bewitching. Good job Rinny you have gained another sub, keep up the quality content.
Before video Gmtn has always fascinated me since I can’t find much of his music anywhere. Adding to this, he puts out quite good music as well which makes the fact that he seems to have disappeared quite strange to me. After this was a great video. If you check his Spotify, there are two other songs: disperagioia and one other I can’t remember at the moment.
Agreed, gmtn has always fascinated me for that as well. After all of this I'm still not entirely sure on why he retired but I figured it's best to not pry too much into his personal reasons. Thanks for watching also!
It would be cool if you could do a video on Laur, since I think that could be quite interesting considering all the tracks he has made as well as the evolution of his styles.
This is definitely one of my favorite videos on the entirety of the internet. gmtn.'s story was extremely interesting, fascinating and emotional. And thank you Rinny for always making amazing videos!
You are criminally underrated for making such a good video on this topic. gmtn's furusio melodia was one of the first tracks that got me hooked onto osu and rhythm game culture as a whole, watching such a mysterious man do what he loves the most made very teary eyes. Amazing video, keep up the good work
He was at one point on SoundCloud and I listen to a lot of his music. I absolutely love his style of music however, ever since he deleted his SoundCloud account, I think I haven’t been able to find the song anywhere which just sucks so thanks for this video to let me know a little more history on one of my most favorite music creators
Amazing video dude, that ending was surprisingly emotional haha, i first heard of gmtn music from Arcaea and it was amazing, i hope he is doing well nowdays
I never made the connection to Umineko, but I clearly should have. His peak works all have that bewitching Bea-trance vibe, but somehow even more brutal than the witch herself.
I know they weren't the main focus of the video, but it was wild hearing about the origins of taqumi. I only knew them from Lilium Records. (Also gmtn did the sayaka thing I shoulda known!)
i just came from osugame and really liked the video. Even though i didnt really understand ~50% of what was talked about, you did a great job of keeping me interested for the entire 35 minutes :D
Happy Puppet might... be based on Happiness of Marionette? (a song from umineko) just guessin based on the name Edit: God I love and hate you so much for using Ricordando il passato as the ending song T_T
Hi, I've just found your channel thanks to the youtube algorithm, and I have to say your videos are amazing man!, please keep making these history videos~! ps: what's the name of the song you used for the conclusion (34:08)? sounds like Akiko Shikata but I could be wrong
RU-vid really doesn't like putting you in my recommended, but you still are their when I want you. Another banger video that youtube refuses to recommend because the algorithm is broken as hell.
I had no idea he started as an SM artist! ! ! :O I get goosebumps every time I hear that harpsichord :kreygasm: Great video rinny! you made my weekend ! ! ! ! It saddens me to see he decided to retire 😢 But I wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors! *LONG LIVE GMTN* ! ! !
I litterally cant stop listening to his songs. And even though Trappola bewitching was on of the easiest ftr10 in arcaea, it recently got a byd chart and i think that one geve it the chart it deserved can you maybe make an episode about Team Grimoire?
one artist i would love to know about mainly because im not versed in knowing how to find obscure alias ridden old japanese music is -45 or yoshikawa-45 ( i think he has other names idk ). not even sure if hea a big rythym game artist tbh i think there was some stuff but like i love everything ive heard from him
I dont feel too much about the game itself, especially since I finished it really quickly, but the soundtrack makes it so memorable for me. Definitely one of the most underrated out there
@@rinnythe16th That's cool, I just thought even there are many Jp artists dominating rythm game music, there are other artists from around the world who wants be in as well.
Damn, i never thought gmtn had such an interesting story, this was very pleasant to watch Also, does someone know if there's still a way to download that one free album he published?
