I love Hollow Knight so much, and it always gives me the chills whenever I merely look at one of the cutscenes. The endings always make me nearly cry because of how sad they all are. Just, think about it. Someone always dies in the endings, whether it be the godseeker, the knight, or Hornet. Hollow Knight is such sad, mysterious, ominous, game. I think this is a perfect representation of that. Edit: I’m not a lore expert, I’m don’t know if the godseeker dies or not. It’s just a guess really, I know a good amount of lore. But I’m not very educated in the Godhome DLC
Ending 1: Sealed Ending 2: Sealed with Hornet Ending 3: Trapped in dream world after killing Radiance Ending 4: Trapped in God home after killing Radiance Ending 5: If Shade Lord is evil then world is doomed. If not then it's the only happy ending. Bonus: Mushroom guy flying in the distance.
I think the godseeker dying is the best scenario, even without the flower (but with it is best case for everyone other than godseeker lmao). she gets what she and her people always wanted, an omnipotent god that can kill even the light that haunts the somehow alive kingdom of hollownest, permanently. they get the god with power to strike any other down and finally live how they wanted, even if only for a brief moment. they die how they wanted to live, in the presence of such omnipotence.
@@iamacatperson7226 someone else came up with the idea that the flower is a sort of burial rite that finally lets the siblings rest without needing to sacrifice the HK and Knight for it, and that's also why the pale lady says "you wouldn't hold it so close if you knew its purpose" or whatever it was exactly she said. so maybe not sealed or defeated but released from life.
That would be a GMV though, not an AMV. "AMV" stands for "Anime Music Video", "GMV" stands for "Game Music Video". As far as I'm concerned, Hollow Knight is not an anime.
owo desu ne but hollow knight language kinda sounds like japanese (have voice actor from japan too) and they mentioned that the alot of background & patterns got inspired by anime called "Angels Egg"
