I think this is absolutely great, only thing unrealistic about this though is the song brings out hope while outlast trials is supposed to make you feel the opposite😅
Thank you for your comment. That's the point. The song acts as a contrast and meant to reinforce the grotesqueness of situation. You might call it a “subversion of expectation”. This is what the Outlast franchise does well, in my opinion. In every game it seemed like the main characters was about to get out of all troubles, but no matter how hard they tried, there's no a good ending. TOT follows the same rule, because “rebirth” turns out to be not such a good outcome as Easterman described it for reagents. I wanted to convey a similar feeling in my video. But someone may look at this in a different way. It's ok, things have different interpretations, depending on the perspective of the viewer. That's all.

Wow, this is actually very well done. The cuts to the beat of the song line up perfectly while also being very epic and cinematic. I really think you captured every perfect moment of the game in this video. Very underrated in my opinion.
Never thought i'd see a Outlast Trials edit, but oh man, am i glad i bumped into this. You did an amazing job and i would say this is the perfect song, Woodkid is awesome. Even though they butchered my favorite rig blindness (understandably so) i really hope this game gets a lot more popularity because it has such an interesting gameplay.
