Hey I just played with gnar and for me he's a ton of fun. I build some health so I can tank either way. You don't need a lot of ad items because of how his abilities scale

I gotta say I'm a Dota guy, but I really like how this game is spreading the MOBA genre to everybody. Not everyone is gonna like Dota because of the mechanics and such but this game is bringing more people to the genre and spreading the E-sports scene. I've played this game a lot back then and I'm happy to see the game still receiving updates, I don't know why Dota and LoL fans fight, as long as we're gamers playing what we love it's all good.

I agree that champs aren't intentionally op at release, but you can't just name one champ as the basis for your argument, otherwise people could just say "all champions are OP at release, remember Leblanc?"

Velkoz is op, he has high range high damage spammable abilities with good cc. He has a 53% win rate in ranked. Pro players haven't bothered to pick him up though as he isnt as impressive looking or fun as yasuo and theyd rather stick to comfort picks like orianna. Ofcourse if faker played a couple of velkoz games he would inevitably start being spammed by most midlaners.

I recommend Smite; while it's community has supposedly degraded since beta, it's worlds away from League in terms of having generally nice players. Their report system is much better, I think, because they actually give incentive to being a decent human being.

IMO not being able to control his Mega Gnar transformation is what will make it difficult to master. If it were up to me, I would mainly use Mega Gnar during team fights.

This champ doesn't seem imbalanced at all right away. Very impressed with his design, its going to take skill with the champion to control him transforming. I can already see tons of people not paying attention and going into Big Gnar form when trying to kite and run away only to get run down.

They have to make the new champs OP so people drop $$$ buying RP to buy him. Once he starts going on reduced price they nerf him to reasonable levels. They can get away with it because they know he'll get banned in any competitive match so it won't matter. It's why I never buy new champs. I wait until they put out the 'real' version of them.

Crealtos I wouldn't say its useless. While its true that you can see it coming in lane and avoid it, mega gnar has the highest base stats in the game; It does a lot of damage with crazy tankiness that lets him dive hard and bully harder. A good gnar can use this passive very well.

iDerekMC His jump has a small radius outside of Gnar's hitbox, it got just on the edge of Maokai which is why he hopped. 88mati88 He can only bounce off of units (Champions, minions, or monsters), but not objects like terrain or wards. He can bounce OVER those things, but not off of them.

He's too squishy early game, even in big gnar form, no big sustains...

the problem is he has no sustain and his passive is situational so you can't always count on it being ready for ganks, if he gets a good leash he may be okay, but he'll still take a beating and counter jungled easily.

TheFPSPower also i tried him bit jungle, doesnt work because your forced into his ultimate everytime and it'll happen to you randomly in jungle. you cant save it for special moments like to clear red or blue buff easier. and the bigger form makes you more slower..and dont do as much damage early game which makes his jungle. just struggle HARD.

Crownless King it can work with TP, wait until ur rage is full, TP behind the enemy (tell their Lane to ward behind the enemy) and then go in as Mega Gnar, it could work sure ur clearspeed is incredibly low but i think he can work acceptable as Jungler

Guys he has relatively low cds (except for q catches) so he doesn't deal much sustained damage. Also he can be counter by smart players that know him well enough to do so. For goodness sakes not every champ is op. Just an excuse.

He's already balanced, he's like Yasuo. You have to know what you have to do with him and how he works for him to actually be good. Oh also, he seems easily counterable. Mini Gnar, hard to gank but if you have large amounts of cc and use it correctly, he's an easy kill as he is squishy. Pre-level 6 Mega Gnar, however, is much easier to gank as he has less mobility. He, like Draven on release, is going to be predictable with his movement.

I've actually played a LOT of Gnar on the PBE. I think he will be under powered on release and will need a few buffs. He has some real weaknesses that make it hard to be successful with him and easy to counter him. I think what most people miss is he is completely unlike other transformation champs - he only has half his kit at a time and can't choose when to use it. His weaknesses are also huge - random transformations screwing you over, super squishy with short range in mini-gnar, super slow and immobile in mega-gnar.

Adrian Baus Should I feed the troll? Alright. First, are you some sort of crazy stalker? I replied something sort of similar to a totally different post a while ago. And your comment is awfully naive, considering Riot has released a lot of UP champs (Vel'koz, Lucian, etc.). I've played a lot of Gnar and you haven't. I have firsthand experience and you don't. And I also played Braum, Velkoz, Yasuo, Jinx, and more on PBE before release and correctly called whether they would be OP or UP beforehand. By the way, even more naive is your comment that Yasuo is not difficult to play. Why would he be considered a top pick but have a 47% win rate if he wasn't difficult to play?

go with 15% cdr on runes and masteries(10% runes 5% mast) in game get ionian boots and a brutalizer(youmuu) now you got max cdr wich means no cooldown on your Q. for the build just go like jax :Bork trinity youmuu then tanky.

Hey Riot, please allow players to block of certain players from their match making at the end of the game. Players that do things like stealing roles and fail at it badly. Especially in ranked. The occasional ban wave takes too long. Why not let the community be the judge. The more people block of a certain player, the slower that player will have to wait in match making. After a cap number of players block of said player, that troller will be immediately banned. This will definitely encourage better behavior and lesser trolls.

MewtwoFan 123 If you don't want people to abuse this function to get you banned then behave yourself in game. Simple. I have countless games where I dominated my lane then mid game my teammates just run into 1v5 1 by 1 to feed and throw. Telling them to back, they never listen.

Patch 4.14 notes: Ban Gnar in rank games Research a team in normal games when you see Gnar in your team for the next 10 days. Go AFK when at least Gnar Ziggs and Fizz are in the same team in ARAMS. Spend your points to buy Gnar after 10 days since he release to avoid Kicks , Blames , and bans from the tribunal with out reason "kids rules". Follow this and you will keep you pc safe , no matters how old are you .

This champion got me out of bronze and is now my favorite champion in the game and my main. I LOVE this champion. He's very fun to play, has high damage, does well in lane vs most top laners, (Nidalee is the worst matchup i've seen for him), has a sick initiate for team fights and is one of the best champions for kiting and escaping. Not to mention he has a great tool for escaping ganks. He does have weaknesses though. In mini form he doesnt do well against CC and gap closers where in mega form he can be kited if they dodge the Q. Great champion. Fun to play and imo quite balanced.

From what I can see, the only thing that could be OP is his ability chaining in his ult. Avoid his ult and then cc lock him in mini Gnar form would end him, wouldn't it?
