Nice. Never used that EZ Dub material. I tied a similar version with a hackle barb schuck though.

Thanks for all your hard work Charlie. I appreciate it. BTW, the last few videos it sounds like your mic/ audio got jacked. Granted you’re no Mel Torme but a new mic might help.

I got a new camera and the mic placement seems to be much more important with this one! I think I’ve got it figured out now so not to worry!

How often do you really trim or cut off parts of your flies on the water? You mention it a lot, do you really do it that much?

I honestly do it a lot, especially if I have a fish refuse a fly. A little trimming can often change the profile just enough to convince them.

Hook size is based on gap not the shank?? Did I hear you correctly master Craven 🥋

Yep. Sizes are based on gap, shank length is variable. Gap width can be varied also but realistically a wide gap hook is really just a short shanked hook.
