I'm kinda pick'n up some Chewbacca vibes too😂 for Halloween last year I made a Mr. & Mrs. It. Tomato cage, hoola skirt and glue. Added a Bowler hat for him and Floppy brimmed straw hat for her...and if course sunglasses..they were a big hit at my office.

Absolutely adorable. I think I'm going to make one but use a shorter container so mine will be shorter...like a tiny puppy. Thank you for sharing. I am also smitten with gnomes and have seen the dogs and now you showed how..lucky to find you.
Just a suggestion for the ears. I you cut two swatches for each ear and hot glue them together and leave the bottom open for a pipe cleaner and then glue down together you would be able to could direct them in any direction you would like. So each ear would have two pieces of fur with a pipe cleaner in the middle. What do you think? I'm going to give it a try. " Happy Crafting " !
I was watching a video just before this, I don't know if you seen it or not, but you just mentioned about finding more colors of fur. She was dyeing the fur with what she called unicorn spit, or using some sort of acrylic paint. It was a great idea! Just thought I would share. It was DIY is my Happy Place. I absolutely love watching your video. This was the first one I came across and will definitely be watching more! Can't wait for more ideas! I will also be checking out the Gnome and Backyard videos too. I was just looking at it, and couldn't leave your video though. Will watch those after this. I am very new to this gnome making so just trying to find all kids of ideas. I gave gnomes for all my grandkids for Christmas and for Easter. They loved them. Also to my sisters and mom for Christmas. Wasn't too bad for my first ones.
I made one the other day and I used a Parmesan cheese plastic container but it was to tall and I did not like how it turned out. I will have to try a orange juice plastic container. I did try again and I cut down a Ice water bottle and it worked so much better and came out so adorable.
for your allergies, get some "local" honey, it really works. I haven't taken an allergy shot or a pill for over 10 years. It works like a booster. Only need 1 TBS a day. Those dog gnome's are so cute, thanks for sharing. Dollar tree has some finger guards in the craft section that will help save your fingers. they're pink. The white one, if you made the ears longer, would make a cute gnome bunny. A-D-O-R-A-B-L-E!!!!!
I'm trying for a pink puppies. With a medicen bottle.There is alot of people making these. Your doing a great job making them .Great 👏Job. I never have made a puppy out of a medicen Bottle . With Faux Fur . I used Faux Fur for Gnome. But it's going to be new to me on this. How does a person show you there Crafts? I would like to know ?
